I got so much adrenaline high from killing him, that I feel like I'm floating.

I turn to where the others were.

Nobody was there.

I look around.

Nobody.

Not Emma.

Not Ray.

Not the little kids.

Nobody.

My adrenaline high just crashed right back down and was replaced with the sobering reality of my situation.

I was alone now.

All alone.

Nobody but the undead skeletons who helped me kill Andrew were by my side.

"H-hello?" I whisper as my mouth twitches.

"Anyone?" I softly cry out.

Were they scared of me?

I wasn't going to hurt them.

Just Andrew.

Only Andrew!

I promise!

I would never hurt any of you!

I cover my mouth as the now drying blood fleshes my scent. I gag in my mouth at the sudden scent.

I walk a few steps forward and fall on my knees.

Am I alone again?

Did me protecting them cause them to get scared?

Did I go too far?

Should I have let Emma shoot the gun?

All my thoughts whirl around my mind as my eyes stop glowing.

My nails round back to normal.

My teeth retract and my normal teeth soften.

My eyes turn back to their normal colour.

I'm curled over slightly with my face in my hands.

Small tears form at the corners of my eyes.

The Bonemen all put a hand on my back as they attempt to make a comforting statement, but it ends up coming out as a purr or a growl.

I hear footsteps, but don't look up to see who it was.

The Bonemen move their hands and a jacket is lightly draped on me, the person kneels down to me.

Now I look up with my blood covered, scratch littered, and tear stained face.

Ray.
