6 weeks later May and Coulson came back to the base, they expected the kids to welcome them but no one welcomes them, walking in the hallway they saw Bobbi

"Sir, Agent May you're back!"

"Yeah"

They entered the director's office, he continues his work there and Melinda headed to the gym. Actually, the vacation only lasts 10 days the rest is all work they've been communicating and working from Australia. When she arrived at the gym she didn't saw her, she frowned but walked to the Lab she saw Fitzsimmons- they're busy and serious about whatever they're doing, she doesn't want to bother them so she went back to Coulson's office instead

"You okay?" Melinda asked

"No"

"We're just gone for 6 weeks, we had been calling, we took updates, we planned ops from there... it's just 6 weeks but it...felt different" he continued, well he didn't regret that vacation, of course not he's with the love of his life for crying out loud, it just when they came back it felt like they had gone for too long

"You miss the bantering and the running? The teasing, pranks, the complaints? Them calling you dad?" She smirked but her eyes are soft

"I haven't seen daisy, the gym is empty" she continued

"Bobbi said she's with Mack checking the inhuman"

"Oh" may respond

"I expected Sky-Daisy jumping and running to us when we stepped out of the zephyr" he beamed

"Pfft Sap dad" they just stared at each other's eyes until the door suddenly opened

"Do I have a baby sister or brother already?" Daisy greeted and hugged them

"I still want to know what happens to that Cabin" she continued

"We call daisy you know what's happening" may said

"No, that's not what I mean"

"Yeah we wanna know it too" Fitzsimmons entered the office too

"I thought you all are busy"

"Bobbi said you're back so we dropped everything," said Skye, Fitz glared at her

"Figuratively, Fitz"

"So wanna tell your kids a story?" Skye insisted

"How detailed you want it to be?"

"May" Simmons disbelieved

They sat on the couch, squeezing themselves together cos the couch isn't big enough for them

"Arent you together now?"

"What?... no!"

"No?! What's the point of going to Australia?!"

"We take a break"

"And didn't do anything? Just that? Then you should've taken us with you!"

"You missed us."

"No, I didn't"

"You did"

"May are you having morning sickness or cravings or mood swings," Simmons asked after seeing chocolates on Coulson's table

"Yeah? Why?" Their eyes grew wider but May looks confused, while Coulson is suppressing his laugh behind May's shoulder

"Omigoshhh Mayyyy, I'm so happy for youuu!!!" Daisy said hugging May

"You're happy because I'm on my period? This isn't my first menstruation, daisy"

"What?! Noooo!! I- thought-" daisy whined while Fitzsimmons just made an O shape with their mouth realizing that they're wrong, they were embarrassed assuming that May's pregnant so they dragged Daisy out of the office still shouting 'no'.

"Guess that's what happens if your youngest child badly wants a baby sister or brother" Coulson teased she looked at May her face is still serious, precessing what happened

"May, Melinda" Coulson said moving closer to her, she let Coulson hug her

"We've never talked about it- what happened, that 3 nights," Coulson said, that 3 nights plus the 6 weeks full of cuddles and light kisses that they've never talked about

"It's not just sex, Phil. we made- we made love" god it overwhelmed her saying it out loud

"I love you"

"Mhm-mm" Melinda smiled kissing Coulson

"Are we fulfilling the wish of our youngest? " Phil said in the middle of the passionate, slow, and full of love- kiss

"Mhmm-mm"

All the parents once wished that their children would remainn just kids when they could kiss their cheeks a million times without hearing a complain, or seeing them running around laughing at each other when everything they do they'll need mom or dad when it's just simpler.

They'll never admit it, but they missed it.
