[20] how they make your heart flutter (as JUST your friend)

It was a friendly gathering, you and Jun, and Yanan, and some others met up at the SEVENTEEN practice room to hang out.

You had brought some food with Yanan and when you two arrived, everyone was already there. Jun rushed over behind you and held your arms in place guiding you slowly to the corner where everyone was.

"Be careful Yanan, and Y/N, it's slippery because we just cleaned." You felt your heartbeat spike upon his small platonic touch.

The other friends chuckled and whispered among themselves. Yanan turned to Jun and almost slipped on the slippery floor, leaving Jun to chuckle.

"What about me!?" Yanan yelled.

The8: accidentally bumping into you

You and your friend, Minghao were working together on a piece of clothing for your clothing shop.

Minghao was experimenting with different kinds of spray paints, pencils, and just designs in general. You were watching him and from time to time will give your ideas.

You thought of an idea, to add a flower at the shirt pocket, and went to grab a pencil, but Minghao who was rushing past with a spray can bumped into you. You felt your heart beat as he held your shoulders in reflex.

"Oops, sorry." He said, before heading back to the clothing.

Dino: volunteering to help you finish work

You were having a hard time passing out flyers passerbys because of the hot weather.

The sun was shining directly on you and you were inside a large mouse costume, making you warm and sweat like crazy.

Chan, upon seeing the costume, ran toward you and knocked on the costume. "Aww it's cute~~!"

He knocked off the head of the costume and you were presented with a smiling Chan. He picked up the head from the ground while giggling, you were drenched in sweat.

"Give me that, I'll do it in this cute mousie costume." Chan said, taking the papers. For some reason, your body got hotter than it already was.

Woozi: putting headphones on you

"How about this?" Jihoon asked. You giggled.

"I can't hear the song if you are wearing the headphones."

Jihoon chuckled, embarrassed.

"Right," he took off the headphones and slowly, he adjusted it before placing it on your head. His face was suddenly so close to yours that your mind couldn't help but look at him. Your heartbeat couldn't rest still. "Now, tell me if it sounds good."

You snapped back into reality and gave him and OK sign. You still couldn't get it out of your mind though and the song he showed you fitted perfectly to that scene.

Jeonghan: saving you from getting hit by a basketball

You were watching the members of SEVENTEEN play basketball against another team and of course, you were cheering for SEVENTEEN because they were your friends. You would continuously shout their names and cheer them on.

Suddenly, your phone began to ring and you took it out of your pocket, only glancing at the number. You put your phone back in your pocket and looked up.

The ball was headed straight toward your face, and you only flinched before Jeonghan swiped the ball away.

"You okay!?" He asked, out of breath. Your heart was beating fast as you nodded.

Joshua: pulling you away from the road

You were talking and walking with Joshua about your day. Joshua listened wholeheartedly while walking beside you. You were continuously ranting about your work and boss to him and he just quietly listened.

"And then you know what? My boss said I did that when I wasn't even apart of the team who created that dumb-" before you could finish talking, Joshua put his hand on your arm and pulled you toward him.

He changed sides with you after seeing a car pass by closely. Your heart was beating faster.

"Sorry, it's just... you should walk on this side."

You stuttered at first but then continued to rant as he finally joined in the rant with you.

Dk: falling asleep on your shoulder

It was a hard day for Seokmin. He felt like he couldn't sing properly and he was overall having a very stressful day, so you took him out to get some food, hoping it will cheer him up a little.

"Are you feeling better, Seokmin?" You asked.

Seokmin didn't answer. You both were sitting in the back of a taxi. You turned to look at him but his head flopped on your shoulder. You felt yourself blush and your heart race.

The driver smiled. "I guess he must be tired."

You stared out the window, trying to calm your heart down. Seokmin's soft hair tickled your neck a little but you didn't want to push him away. "Yes.. he had a very stressful day today.."

Seungkwan: drinking coffee from the same straw as you

"You're finally here!?" You asked. Both of you had made plans to play soccer with some friends.

Seungkwan was late by 10 minutes and the friends had already started playing. "I'm your only loyal friend. Everyone started playing without you."

Seungkwan rolled his eyes playfully, his arms crossed. He sat down beside you.

"Do you have coffee? I haven't even properly woke up." Seungkwan said. You were holding and americano in your hands.

"I only have one." Seungkwan took the americano from your hands. "Hey! Seungkwan!"

He took a sip from the straw and you immediately blushed. You two indirectly kissed for the first time.

"Fine! You can have it.." Seungkwan continued to drink the americano and cheered with his empty hand.
