In the evening, June and her male colleagues were waiting impatiently for the other two girls to come. Dean who is the youngest and most geeky of them, shoot "so fucking cold..." constantly rubbed his bare palms together, covered his face and retorted "hey, Boss.. remind me again what in the world am I doing here in this dead cold... oh bloody hell I'm freezing".

Sean tried to boost up his dim energy "dude, I have been promised there would be bunch of horny girls".

Dae-Min prompted "did you say horny..?"

Dean- "bunch of girls? Really?"

Sean- "make your priorities straight, boys!! You want bunch of girls or horny chicks?"

Dean- "beggars can't be choosers, you see, Sir!!"

June (grabbing Dean's arm) "hey you kid, virginest of virgin, stay in your pants ok."

Dean is more like an obedient little brother to June. He doesn't do or act without June's supervision and care. He would even ask June if he could use water closet during lab time. His daily meal is sometimes supervised by June. Besides the classmates, anyone would say he is either spoilt or extremely pampered by June.

But Dean was a reserved guy, ruthlessly deprived from love and affection from his family like June did.

His mother is on her 3rd husband and his step fathers had only showered curses and physical abuses on him.

Needless to say, he had the lowest self-esteem before coming to Belgium. June had always made efforts to eradicate his innermost insecurities and pushed him to expand his horizon of emotional range.

Sean commented on June's way of rebuking Dean, "No wonder, love, you got no boyfriend... with that tone of yours which guy you think can be messing with you..."

June (looking at Sean in confusion) "you are saying my voice keeps boys away"?

Sean -" not voice, girl. The tone! Your tone is sometimes stern, uncozy... you know.. less girly. Women need to be tender. You are rigid and ungiving."

Dae-Min who rears the same thought about June, spoke less harshly, "I think what Sean meant that you are way too smart for a guy."

June was listening to their respective comments attentively, let out a lowly moan in shock "am I not frank"?

Dae-Min- "right there, you're very frank and have an impeccable sense of humour but for a guy. You are an amazing friend. But your 'I don't give a damn' outward behaviour and attitude don't give you the look of a potential girlfriend."

Dean who was still in the strained capture of June, tried to release his arm, resolved the conversation promptly " boss, you're doing great. Ignore them. Just make yourself available"

Sean and Dae-Min both nodded their head.

Dae-Min concluded, "yes... that's the point. But you must know, you are an asset to the institute, to the nation, pin pointedly put. You are too involved in work. Sometimes..you know... let loose.. you are in a dire need of getting a life.."

June was summing up the conversation and concluded how she was not equipped to fetch a boyfriend because she was more like a buddy.

Although Her face remained unchanged but her mood became slightly dour that obviously remained unnoticed.

Each of us has our own perception of beauty based on our background. If anyone knew June well, they would say, She likes to be known, loved and appreciated by her distinguished qualities and positive personality.
