In one of the Inuyasha movies, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father, Toga asked Sesshomaru this:
" Do you have someone to protect?"
Sesshomaru's answer at the time was " No, I Sesshomaru have no need for such."
Ladies and gentlemen of the fandom I give you Sesshomaru's new answer.
Sesshomaru's new answer: Rin and his daughters Towa and Setsuna.
I think it's safe to say Sesshomaru has three someone's to protect.
