Once I entered the hospital, my heart was still beating so fast. The dinner was so unexpected, and I can't believe it was the first thing I asked Lisa after a week without us talking to each other. Now how am I supposed to continue my day without thinking about that Captain?

I then enter the lobby, where I see the medical team lined up, waiting for my arrival. In front of us was the Chairman and the staff that gathered around, then they give us a round of applause congratulating us. We bow our heads as a thank you for personally welcoming us even though they have a tight schedule.

We then saw the Chairman walking towards us with a warm smile.

"Modu chughahabnida (Congratulations Everyone). Thank you for all of your hard work and also for coming back here without any problems. As the head doctor, I'm very proud to all of you," The Chairman talks to us like his own children. We also treat him as our father because he taught us well when we were still residents here.

"It wouldn't be possible without your consent and support Sajangnim, so as the team leader of this medical team volunteer, I'm thankful that you trust us with this," The medical team all bow their heads to give their appreciation to the Chairman.

"I'm glad to hear that, now it's time for me to go back to work, you can take an early leave today and start your work tomorrow, that would be all," The Chairman then excuses himself to us, and we said our goodbyes.

We then proceed on our perspective offices. Some of the doctors and nurses go to their co-workers to tell their experiences during our volunteering and also give them some souvenirs they bought there.

I was just peacefully walking when I felt two arms on my shoulder, one from a smiling Jisoo and the other was from a pouting Rosé. Oh my god, these two really.

"Can you please distance yourselves for like a day or something?" I said with a groan before removing their arms around my shoulder.

"Oh common, I thought you would be in a good mood after seeing the Captain who ghosted you for a week," Jisoo said, trying not to laugh.

"Well I was in a good mood until you ruin it Chu," I replied, still walking towards my office.

"Okay fine I get it, but I was supposed to tell you that the team and other doctors are throwing a welcoming party for us later, so I'm asking if you want to join? I mean Rosé and I would be there so we're expecting you to be there also right?" Jisoo said, then I opens the door of my office after I unlock it. Rosé just follows us inside.

"I'm sorry, but I think I'll pass this time, I had my plans already. I invited Lisa to have dinner with me to my place later," I said apologetically as I look at my two best friends.

But instead of seeing their dismayed face, I saw Jisoo smirking while Rosé groans, what the-.

"I told you baby, now pay up," Jisoo reach her hand towards her fiancé, who just rolled her eyes to the still smirking chicken.

Am I having a deja vu?

"Oh my gosh you two, this is the second time you put a bet on me," I feel betrayed by this couple. I just can't.

"What? It's not illegal you know, so it means we can do this anytime, anywhere. And to be honest, it's kinda fun," Jisoo then snatches the money that Rosé handed her then kisses her cheek.

"Thank you baby, don't worry I'll buy your favorite food with this so it's still yours."
