Small drops tapped repetitively against the surface of the water. It's contents hugged every part of me therapeutically like it'd understood my thoughts or longed for my contentment.

My fingers were examined, shriveled and prune-like as if I'd spent in here an eternity. The bathroom was quiet as I lay in the water. I spent very little time alone but I'd appreciated every moment of it. I had exactly an hour to ready myself before the girls got here. I got up and felt the water trickle down my body. I pulled the plug which prevented the water from escaping.

I stepped out onto the rug that lie in front of me, drying my entire body so the dampness wouldn't follow me into the room. I walked down the hall and what a long walk it was.

I dressed myself something casual and combed my hair in a manner of fatigue. We'd been together nearly a year and he'd never let me prepare anything. A good part of me loved to allow him that power. It was something that stood him a distance away from the other guys I'd experienced. His eyes were mellow and gorgeous as always as though they'd been carved out of a marveled kryptonite.

"Have fun okay. I'll be back." He hugged me closely. His scent washing me over before surprising me with his lips. He held me for awhile as if dazed. I was released hesitantly as a knock sounded against the door. "I'll get it."

I heard laughter as each of them embraced him as I had. They came into the room wholeheartedly. My name echoing from their mouths as arms clung around me. Two was definitely a crowd when it came to them. It'd been about a week since I'd saw them last but a week too long. They'd never been here all together so I'd enjoy the company. Harry approached me again as he pushed his second arm in the sleeve of his jacket.

"I'll be back in an hour." He walked over to me.

I got another taste of him on the surface of my lips before he said goodbye to the girls and left for the front door.

Plates were assembled across the table and we'd begun to eat the chocolate chip cookies Harry had made for me.

"He did not make this." Sophia said in shock. Her eyes fell shut orgasmically, as if heavily taken aback.

"Oh my gosh, this tastes better than my mom's." Julie hummed.

They laughed in sync as I stared down at the plate shyly. My head filled with thoughts of confessing now but I'd wait until we were cuddled on the couch. We always did that.

Sophia cleared her throat. "I love the house, I can tell you've been getting your way."

"Just with the decorating." I smiled to myself with the thought of pulling Harry through Home Depot.

Something about eating the food he prepared without him made my heart sore but I knew it was just because I'd gotten spoiled. We sat around the table as we enjoyed each others company. The air was warm and comforting with our dialogue. I wasn't neglected to be filled in on everything I'd missed since our last meet.

We were around the couch now, shoes kicked off and comfortable as they admired Channing Tatum on the screen. Sophia played with the waves of my hair as I lie against her. There were bowls of strawberries between us, it was something we always ate on days we'd relax and spend time together.

"Girls." I wasn't sure if they'd heard or if they were still drooling from the sight Channing's abs. I sighed and breathed in slowly. "Girls! I'm pregnant!"

They turned to face me quietly. I was sat up and watched steadily. I felt nauseous again under their stares. Hands were on my shoulders and my knees the same. The tick of the clock down the hall grasped my attention, distracting me if only for a moment.

"W- What was t- that Alex?" Julie stuttered.

Smiles were gracing their faces now. I didn't know which face to focus on. "After taking a bunch of pregnancy test, I went to the doctor the other day. He says I'm pregnant."

Screams filled the lower section of the house, though I'm sure the neighbors heard. Arms were around me in that instant. I'd felt accomplished in telling them and the reactions were lovingly memorable.

My cheeks were kissed and fingers rubbed my stomach. It weird-ed me out a bit but I'd accepted the gesture. Julie drifted into tears, immediately setting the rest in motion. I hugged her into me as I begged her to stop.

"Julie, please don't cry."

"I swear, you'd better call us for every doctor's appointment." She weeps harder.

"Yeah, and we get dips on picking the middle names." Sophia added in.

I felt my own tears drop in my plea. Warm and humble against my cheek. I'd heard the door snap when it closed. My eyes went to meet Harry, a worried look wore on his face.

"The hell! What's wrong, is everyone okay?" He spoke nervously as he walked toward us slowly. I smiled through the tears as I nodded to let him know we'd been alright.

"Uh, yeah 21 Jump Street was just really.. sad." I wiped at my eyes.

They giggled behind me to assure him. He didn't dare question it further.

"Harry, they ate all of the food." I playfully whined.

He smiled over at us after swiping his hair in a side to side motion and pushing it upward. His dimples were life changing to me.

"I already ate. Its okay, I figured they would."

"Thanks, Harry." They all said in unison.

"No problem. You both should come by more often." He leaned over the banister as he walked up the stairs.

"We're going to keep her for a while longer then we'll send her up." Sophia said as she held on to my arm.

He nodded as a thank you before disappearing up the stairs. The whispering started shortly after.

"Wait. Does he know?" Julie asked.

I nodded. "Yeah we've talked. You know made plans."

"You want a girl or a boy?"

"Either's great." I said.

"They're going to be cute either way. You and Harry are adorable together." Julie smiled at me.

They continued with the chatter until around 1 in the morning. And when they left I already started to miss them.

I entered the room and he'd held out his arms immediately. I loved when he did that. I climbed over him to lay on his chest, his heart thudding in a rhythmic manner. I felt myself grow tired as he trailed his smooth fingertips through my hair. His chest rose and fell with me atop him.

The feeling I'd never grow over.he stayed quiet I assume because he knew I'd been tired. The girls were a full time job but I'd loved them. I loved him. And it was almost a terror to accept how much now.
