"I think I'm having a stroke," Revan said as he sat on a wheelchair due to being too weak to stand, mixed with the realization that the Drunken Galen Shroud is also The Blackguard of Noxamir. Despite Uriah's insistence that he is the real Blackguard of Legends but he's still having a difficult time in accepting it, mostly due to the fact he's still in denial of the truth.

The three of them made their way towards the courtyard of the Hospital, the first of its kind in Noxamir, where it had been turned into a thriving and lush garden thanks to the efforts of the Mages within the City for the two to relax.

"Still in denial huh," Galen said with a chuckle as he took a sip of his flask. "You know all you need to do is ask and bam! You're now an Acolyte of the Duskwarden."

"And you'll make me your errand boy then," Revan concluded earning a boisterous laugh from Galen.

"You got me there," Galen said as he took another sip but frowned realizing he had emptied his entire flask.

"I'd rather be thrown out into the wilderness and fend for myself thank you very much." Revan sighed in disappointment and struggled to stand up earning a concerned look from Uriah.

"Suit yourself, you'll eventually come around," Galen said teasingly as Revan walked away in frustration. As soon as the two were out of earshot Revan made his way towards the upper floors of the Hospital to recollect his thoughts while at the same time weighing his options.

Should he accept that Drunk's offer then he'll be granted a quick route to becoming said Acolyte, a shortcut would have been a nice change of pace for him. But at the same time, there's no guarantee that this self-proclaimed Blackguard could just be playing around and is going end up being his servant boy instead.

But if he decline the offer then it's essentially just subjecting himself into yet another training session that will last for God knows how long. And then there's also the possibility of him being rejected, for all he knew Galen might have been telling the truth and with his approval, him joining their ranks would have been easier.

"God I feel like a massive hypocrite," Revan said running both hands through his hair in frustration and let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine...I'll accept his offer."

"Fucking called it," Galen whispered to Uriah later that day with Revan followed behind them as several massive bags that belonged to Galen. Half of which were spare swords used by Galen and several kegs of beer that Galen had bought prior to them leaving the Hospital for a quick trek towards the Barnstokkr Forest which was covered in a perpetual shroud of mist.

Though if someone had asked Revan if he was still wearing those Newtonites or because the things Galen made him carry were present he would not be able to tell the difference.

"Are you sure it's alright to..." Uriah shot a worried look at Revan who slowly followed up the steep hill with them.

Revan had returned to Galen accepting his offer, to which Galen asked him again for clarification and this time it came with the condition to be his errand boy and to obey whatever he says in certain situations, which Revan had immediately expected but accepted albeit with a hint of reluctance.

For Revan's case if it meant leading to a much easier process of him becoming an acolyte then he was willing to do so, he never had any semblance of pride to begin with anyway so he wasn't bothered.

For Galen's case, it would mean as a new source of amusement while at the same time a test on how far Revan is willing to go for the sake of becoming an acolyte. Though what he can see in his so far it reminded him of his younger self. Which he hated.
