Another morning ...
Today is Monday, it is not good that I can't go to school. Cathy might think that I am still mad at her.
" Honey, you awake?? " Mom asks.
" Yup! "
I get up and go to the toilet to clean myself, still I can't really walk for a long time. Mom has to help me get up and walk..
A few minutes later ...
"Morning there, sweetie, how are you feeling?? " Doctor Louis asks as he opens the door.
" I am feeling kinda great , thanks for asking, Doctor Louis! "
" Welcome, lady! Oh yeah, this is for you. Have you eaten? "
He hands me a box of donuts. Oh ! It is from the shop that big brother bought for me yesterday. Plus, Doctor Louis bought me a chocolate milkshake , one of my favourite drinks, too.
" Oh, it is so kind of you. I was about to go out and buy something for Juliet to eat." Mom says.
" It is ok , madam. I went out to eat something this morning and realized you are alone with Juliet. So , I bought it just in case. No need to pay back because this is my treat! " Doctor Louis smiles and winks at me.
" Thanks a lot , Doctor Louis! " I wink at him back and suddenly he blushes. He really is cute just like Cathy but as I mentioned earlier, I have no interest in him.
" Let me check your head. Does it still hurt? "
" Well, If I focus on it, it still hurts a little but I am fine. "
" I see. But normally, you would feel ok in a day and the wound will stop bleeding after a night but I can see it is still bleeding from time to time and needs bandage. Do you mind if I check it again after a few hours, I have to get in the surgery in a few minutes so I could check yours after that. " He says.
" Ok , Doctor. Thanks! "
" No need, then I will be leaving , Bye! " he waves me goodbye.
" Byee!!! " I wave back.
" Dear, eat up! " Mom opens the box of donuts and give it to me.
Suddenly, I don't feel like eating. I know I must eat because I usually feel tired. But I .. I don't wanna eat.. Maybe I will just take a sip of chocolate milkshake.
" Mom, I am not really hungry now. Maybe I will just take chocolate milkshake. " I say.
" Sure , here you are. " Mom hands me the drink.
Mmmm.. delicious ..
Ah! I suddenly got a headache. It is painful. It feels like something hits my head hard again... And I touch the wound.. It is bleeding and soaking up the bandage again..
" Mom.. I think I need to change the bandage.... " Just then, I vomit.
WHAT? All of a sudden , I vomit the chocolate milkshake.. I have only taken a sip and I vomit ?
I take another sip ... Later, I feel like vomiting again.. ..
And I can't see things clearly ... everything starts to get blurry again.. " Mom?"
" Ju..liet! Are you.. al-" I can't hear... I can't hear clearly.. Ah what is happening again. I start to lose conscious... I can't lift a finger.. I totally can't even lift my eyelid. I slowly close my eyes ..
" JULIET! YOU AWAKE?? "
Well, I have no doubt, it is big brother's . I couldn't hear clearly before I collapse. But thanks to big brother's voice, I am sure that my sense of hearing is fine again.
Again, I am with an oxygen mask, I feel tired. .
