I feel like something is missing deep inside me,
There's an absence inside,
I can't remember what used to be,
All I know is that it feels void
Never-ending sorrow, bloodless pain
The world passes by without a care,
And I am left alone, soaking wet in this rain
Everyone hurries by, not a second to spare
Where is it, I wonder
The thing missing from my life,
From my sorrow, even the heavens burst asunder,
I yearn to seize control, but my heart is on strife
I search around and around,
Moving in circles never-ending,
The corners of my world I have scoured,
The circles are infinite and I keep descending
Someone tell me what is it I lack,
Someone help me bring it back...
