Watch as the flames flicker across,
The pages of life you so painstakingly filled,
Watch, as your life disintegrates and embrace your loss,
For you have been given a chance to complete a destiny unfulfilled
Feel, as the flames give birth to a new you,
A rebirth, untainted and pure, a fruitful mistake,
Your life is a blank canvas you can paint anew,
Choose the paint and the strokes, yet be careful that your hand doesn't shake
Learn, as life proceeds,
For one can never be too sure,
Learn, from the faults of your past deeds,
This time, be careful rather than immature
So say, you who has been given this opportunity,
What path will you take?
Will you once again revel in the drunk haze of lunacy?
And keep on stumbling through the same mistakes?
Or will you finally overcome your loss?
