If all the others are diamonds and you are coal,
If all others flow down and you flow upriver,
Then why must you change your body, mind, and soul?
Why strive to fit in a society that doesn't embrace the real you?
Why become someone even you don't know?
For how long can you recreate and subdue,
Before the real you shows?
It is not a crime to stand out,
It is not a sin to be different,
You are who you are without a doubt,
Take pride in who you are, no matter how insignificant.
Love yourself, no matter how difficult the journey,
Be yourself, no matter what everyone thinks,
Say! I won't let anyone deter me,
And keep it in mind till all doubt sinks
You are who you are,
Be it a hidden flower or a luminous star
