I keep asking, I keep pleading,
But they just keep on misleading.They tell me it's over, they tell me they're done,
But they never stop having their fun.The bottle empties, their glasses fill-
Themselves, they'll surely kill.They don't care, they just drink on,
And just like that my loved ones are gone.The people I now see before me,
They're not my family.It's like someone else is in their skin,
They're not themselves but they just grin.And then comes forth the ugly rage,
They argue and fight, on a rampage.They scream until all hours of the night,
Whilst I cry to myself, out of sight.But of course they'll always apologise,
Even though I know it's all lies.I wish my eyes weren't so sopping,
Because they aren't showing any signs of stopping...
