Every time I look at you my heart aches,
Every time I see you with others my heart breaks.
Why did you have to come into my life,
And cause these chest pains like I've been stabbed with a knife?
Yet you go unaware of the pain you cause,
You don't know how much I'm hurting behind closed doors.
Of course it isn't your fault that I feel this way,
But I can't help it when I see you everyday.
So I'll continue to pretend that I'm fine,
And cry at night because you'll never be mine.
