Whenever I'm feeling down or upset,
Music is the one thing that helps me forget.

Not a pill, or a drink, or anything to cause pain,
Just my favourite songs are enough to make me feel sane.

Not only does it help to relieve my stress,
But it's a way to show the feelings I cannot express.

There's always a song to set the mood right,
I will sit listening to my music all through the night.

There are so many great songs to hear,
And many more being made every year.

Not everyone likes to hear a song,
But for me, without music, I couldn't go on.
