Toxic- that's what you are,
Always drawing me in to deepen the scar.Like a magnet that pulls me into your grip,
Only for you to let me slip.For a period of time things are okay,
But they never seem to stay that way.You're only happy if attention's on you,
But sometimes I need help too.This cyclical structure is too much too bare,
But of course, you don't seem care.When you come back I'm always alert,
Desperately trying to avoid being hurt.Then I'll let down my guard,
And that's when things come crashing down hard.You'd think after so long we could finally break free,
But then again, you're just as trapped as me...
