I'm so ecstatic, so truly elated-
For this moment an eternity I have waited.
But it's finally here and it was worth the wait,
A stomach full of butterflies and an increased heart rate.
Just when I'd given up to the pain,
She came back into my world again.
She picked me back up with her addictive love,
She fixed my broken heart and soared my happiness above.
Past mistakes mean nothing anymore,
She's made me feel joyousness I'd never felt before.
With her by my side I know I'll be okay,
With her by my side I'll want to live another day.
