Lurking in the nighttime...

Beware of what lurks in the night,
Shrouded by darkness it won't be in sight.

Baring its fangs of a ghastly white,
It won't hesitate to leap out and bite.

Prepare to be scared, you'll be quaking in fright,
But don't fight back- it's anger will only ignite.

Just try to hang on until daylight,
Who knows? Maybe you could be alright...

Aha, of course not- there's no escaping it's might,
The best you can do is hope for a quick fight.

So be careful, and be warned, of the nighttime lurker's spite...
