There's so many people I know but can't see,
Just words on a screen are all they know of me.
Yet somehow our connection remains so strong,
They make me feel like I belong.
Sometimes I can even hear their voice,
Although poor signal often prevents that choice...
But how can someone so far away,
Comfort me better than people I see everyday?
Perhaps it's because we are so in sync,
Miles away with a shared mental link.
But even if they are so far away now,
I know I will one day see them somehow.
