Erratic breathing, lungs on fire,
Heart rate soaring oh so higher.
Sweaty palms, pounding head,
The overwhelming loom of dread.
Dry mouth, blurred sight,
My body beginning to feel light.
Ba-dum ba-dum; my heart is singing,
Ba-dum ba dum; my ears are ringing,
Ba-dum ba-dum; the sound grows,
Ba-dum... Ba-dum; my breathing slows...
