Chapter 35

Maddie's POV

The doorbell rings and I smile at Liam.

"MALLORI AND HER FRIENDS ARE HERE!" I shout and run to the door.

I open it and embrace Mallori tightly. I then turn to the blonde next to her. He's got light hair and blue eyes, his arm is around Mallori's waist so I go ahead and assume it's Niall.

"Hi! You must be Niall! I'm Maddie!" I say shaking his hand and smiling.

"Very nice to meet you Maddie! Mallori didn't exaggerate when she said your eyes as blue as mine," he laughs.

"I sure did not, my love," she says reaching up on her tip toes to peck his cheek.

At this point, I'm pretty much crying because they're so cute together. The way Niall looks into Mallori's eyes with so much love has me wishing that someday, Liam and I could be as cute as they are.

Liam comes and grabs my hand from behind. "Hey! I'm Liam!"

"Hi mate! Niall!" He says, reaching out his hand to shake Liam's. Liam doesn't even look the slightest bit uncomfortable meeting new people. It's like it comes naturally to him.

"Hello again, Mallori!" He says waving.

"Hi! This is my friend Madison!" She says pointing to a tall girl with light brown hair and green eyes. I smile and hug her.

"Hello! It's very nice to meet you! Any friend of Mallori's is a friend of mine," I explain.

"This is Harry," Niall says pointing to a tall boy with green eyes and curly hair. He's pretty cute, actually.

"Nice to meet you as well!" I smile, "Wow that was a lot of hi's, why don't you guys come in for dinner?"

I lead them into the house and smile at Liam. He smiles back at me, easing my nerves about our guests. It's not that I was nervous about new people, because I'm not really shy. I'm just nervous that they won't like me as much as I like them. And even though I've only known them for a few minutes, I can already tell I'm gonna like them a lot.

Liam pulls me aside with a quick, "We'll be back in a second guys."

We got into the hallway and he takes both my hands and presses his forehead against mine.

"Is everything alright, girlfriend?" He asks, smiling at me. I laugh a little. He's called my girlfriend about eight hundred and twenty three times since I actually accepted said I would be his girlfriend. I'm not complaining at all though, because I think it's super cute.

"Yes, boyfriend, I'm fine. Just a little nervous that they won't like me, that's all."

He makes a face of disbelief, "Now how in the world could anybody not like such an amazing person like you?"

I shrug, "I'm not that amazing," I blush. Liam makes me feel so special.

"Are you kidding? You're the cutest, most beautiful, kind, and yes amazing, person I know. And I don't ever want you to think differently about yourself ok? Because I love you too much for you not to know that you're amazing. I'll tell you that everyday until you believe it," he then presses his soft pink lips to mine, and all my fears melt away.

This is the happiest I've been in my sixteen years of life.
