Who Are You?

Chapter 25

Liam's POV

"Do you wanna go out and get some coffee babe?" I ask her, taking her hand, "We can go in what we're wearing! It'll be a late night coffee run!"

She smiles wide and nods, "That sounds fantastic! I love spending time with you," she says blushing.

"I love spending time with you too," I say, adding a kiss to her cheek, "NOW LETS GO GET SOME COFFEEE"

I open the passenger door to my car for her and then get in on the driver side.

"What's your favorite drink from Starbucks?" I say, absentmindedly resting my free hand on her knee.

"I really like the turtle mocha! What about you?"

I smile, "My favorite is the Caramel Frappe!"

She nods and reaches to turn up the radio. She plays my Multiply CD, that has the song "Tenerife Sea" on it.

"I love Ed so much! His music is beautiful and his lyrics are so deep and meaningful," she says expressing her extreme love for Mr. Sheeran.

"Me too! I can't get his songs out of my head 99% of the time! This is one of my favorites!"

I start to sing the song, and so does she, and it ends up being Ed singing the melody, her singing the upper harmony, and I the lower.

It sounds quite amazing to be honest.

As the song finishes, I stop at a red light and look over at her. Her blue eyes are shining as she looks at the light and the scene around us. Her perfect pink lips are curved into a beautiful smile, big enough to cure any disease or fix any broken heart.

She already fixed mine within a matter of days.

Her hair frames her face perfectly. I am taken aback by the beautiful way the wheels of her brain are processing and taking in so much information about what's around us and how beautiful it is, that she doesn't even realize how beautiful she is.

I feel the extreme need to tell her how beautiful she is. To make her feel the way a beautiful person like her should feel. My life goals suddenly shift into making her happy. I don't know what's come over me, but all I know is that I can't lose her.

"Maddie," I say.

"Yeah, Liam?" She says, turning to look at me with those big, blue eyes.

"I love you."
