Chapter 29

Liam's POV

I smile as Maddie blushes at my comment.

"Well it's true!" I say.

"You're too cute for you're own good bub," she says smiling and booping my nose.

Mallori walks up to our table again to take our order. She seems really nice, and any friend of Maddie's is a friend of mine.

"Hey Mallori, do you wanna ask Niall if you two could join Maddie and I for dinner tomorrow night?" I ask.

"Sure! Maddie's been wanting me to bring Niall around anyways! Maybe I could bring my friend Madison and Niall could bring Harry too, if that's alright," she says.

"That sounds fantastic!" Maddie says smiling.

I don't mind at all, it sounds great. I could use the company, especially since I'll be alone on Christmas.

"We can't wait to have you all over! It'll be so much fun! We can watch movies and play game and a bunch of other stuff!" I say smiling.

Mallori nods and takes our order. She then disappears back into the abyss.

"So, the chicken tenders are that good huh?" I ask.

"Oh heck yeah they are! Especially if you dip them in ranch dressing, then it's like a party in your mouth!" She says.

"Oh wow that sounds so fantastic, I can't wait," I say, "I'm really glad you're not like a lot of other girls at our school. A lot of them don't like to eat a healthy amount or even talk about eating, but you're so different from them. Better than them. You're not afraid."

She blushes, "Well that's just because I trust you."

"Well I'm absolutely honored to have gained your trust, malady!"

I reach across the table and grab her hand. I don't know what comes over me when I'm with Maddie, but I get the feeling that I should have at least one part of my body touching hers all the time.

If this is what love is, I want more.
