During the Diamond Edge world tour, Jinghua was feeling really homesick - not like, 'wanting to go home to china' homesick but 'i miss my boyfriend' homesick. So after one of the concerts, she called Jaehyun and ranted about missing him ( she had her own hotel room for privacy reasons. ) Jinghua knew they couldn't do anything about her homesickness due to him having his own busy schedules so they settled on calling all night but Jaehyun had to end it for a dinner he was going to. The next day, Jaehyun sent Jinghua a care package filled with a lot of his hoodies and a spare bottle of his cologne/perfume for her to use.

Once Jinghua and Jaehyun were laying on the couch inside her apartment, watching a movie but Jaehyun fell asleep cause he had a really busy day but promised to have a movie night with his girlfriend. He was laying on top of her and Jinghua could see how tired he was so she played with his hair to soothe him into sleeping whilst saying to him that he should sleep cause she cares more about his well-being than a movie.

Jinghua was home alone, dancing and singing her heart out with horrible singing on purpose. She was having the time of her life and didn't notice Jaehyun had come home from a schedule and was just leaning against the doorframe of her bedroom, secretly filming her and smiling at how dorky she was being. When Jinghua found him, she jumped and fell out of shock, hitting her head on the floor; Jaehyun laughed at her :)
side note: he did make sure she didn't hurt herself badly.

On an episode of Knowing Brothers, Jinghua elaborated about a time when Jaehyun had surprised her to a trip to Hawaii for their 2 year anniversary. She explained how he surprised her with the tickets and how he planned the entire trip for her to relax after she came home from tour that month.

Prior to announcing their relationship, Jinghua would talk on variety shows about her experiences with dating before her current relationship with Jaehyun. She explained a lot about how some idols ( that she didn't name ) would approach her and ask for her number in hopes of extending their relationship. After announcing the relationship, a host of a variety show asked Jinghua about other males approaching her and asked how she handled the situation and this is how she responded: "When someone approaches me and ask for my number I either just show them a photo of Jaehyun or I tell them I have a boyfriend."

Recently Jaehyun was cast to star in a web drama and it would be his acting debut so Jinghua bought him a cake and a gift to celebrate it. He told the story during an interview he did for a magazine when they asked about his and Jinghua's relationship during quarantine.
