visiting seventeen during ready to love promotions

jinghua was away from seventeen promotions due to her pregnancy but had been missing her members so she decided to visit the group during their promotions for the group's latest album. dressed comfortably and wearing a mask, she entered the kbs building - bowing to the staff she passed as she messaged their manager of her arrival. "i'll be back," seventeen's manager tells the boys who were getting ready for their stage, everyone giving him nonchalant responses as they thought he would go grab them coffee or snacks for the day. instead of getting what the seventeen boys thought he would be retrieving - he returned with the 12 weeks pregnant jinghua holding bags filled with treats.

"oh? noona is here!" dino cheers as the members began yelling out in excitement that jinghua had come to visit them during her pregnancy. "are you sure it's fine for you to be here noona?" the maknae asked the older female, subconsciously taking the bags from the female's hands and setting it down on the mini coffee table inside the room.

"eh, it's fine," jinghua reassures the younger, patting his shoulder to not mess up the stylist's work. "i got checked and everything for covid plus - my first trimester is done so yoonoh's letting me come to see you," she heartily chuckles, settling down on the couch beside minghao who patted her head as a greeting - something he had done since they were trainees. "i bought coffee and cakes for everyone," the chinese female beams, gesturing to the staff to grab a coffee from the many bags that her and their manager brought into the room.

"wah~ jiae is the best~" jeonghan 'wah'ed, throwing the female a thumbs up as he grabbed an iced americano from the coffee bag and sat down on the other couch.

"where'd you get these cakes from? they're good," dk asked the female who was sipping from a bottle of water that she had brought with her. answering his question fairly easily, she leans over to grab a cake slice and began eating it. "how's the baby by the way? we were meant to see you after today's schedule," her best friend told the girl who chuckled at their plans being ruined by her visiting them first.

"the baby's doing great actually," jinghua hummed, still eating her slice of cake. "i think they're gonna have a sweet tooth because all i have been eating recently are strawberries and just - sweet things," she hummed in delight, finishing her cake and setting the trash onto the table to throw away later.

"oh? jiae's here?" glancing up - jinghua, dk and minghao see woozi walking over to them with hoshi, the pair just waking up from their naps. nodding, the female offers the two coffee and cakes that she had brought to their waiting room with a smile. soon the boys had to leave to perform so jinghua stayed backstage and watched them perform, monitoring their movements and advising them to change minor details or just to make fun of mistakes she had seen.

when the group had their second win for ready to love, seungkwan had gone and rushed to bring jinghua up onto the stage to celebrate with them during the encore stage. chuckling and smiling behind her mask, the female reluctantly let the younger drag her softly onto the stage so the entire group could celebrate together on their show win. the members surrounded her, giving jinghua their microphones as they forced her lovingly to sing for the encore stage - which jinghua complied with doing, singing the song's chorus for the boys and carats who have missed her. after, the show finished - jinghua ended up going home and taking a nap.
