jinghua sat in her seat inside the classroom, her textbooks present on the desk as she scanned over previous topics for the upcoming test in the following week. "jinghua! jinghua!" snapping her head up, she smiled upon seeing her friend, saemin running up to her with a smile on her face. "congratulates on debut!" she handed the seated female a small bouquet of flowers.
"oh? thank you saemin-ah," jinghua gentle smiled at her, cradling the bouquet in her arms. "i'll put them in my locker for now so no one steals them," she chuckled, standing up and moving to her locker, where she placed the gift neatly in front of her books.
"let's go buy some snacks before class," saemin suggested, linking their arms and pulling her out of the room, walking towards the small store inside their school grounds.
the two females entered the store and began to choose their snacks, grabbing a few for close friends, such as their friend yuna and seokmin. "seokminie likes those ones," jinghua pointed at the snack before reaching to grab it. "got it-" she turned around and saw her friend gone. "saemin-ah?" she called, turning the aisle to see her friend if a male.
"oh, wangji! over here! meet my friend~" saemin called to the female who stood in the aisle of snacks. jinghua smiled and walked over to the two with the snack in hand, waving slightly to him. "this is jaehyunie! his real name is yoonoh but he's debuting soon!"
"ah not that soon saemin," he laughed. "i'm still a trainee," he smiled at jinghua.
the female nodded her head, understanding. "you're a trainee? where?" she asked, pointing at him.
"sm," he smiled, holding the drinking his hands up. "shall we pay? class is going to start soon," he informed, advancing to the cashier, wallet in hand as he took out some money.
"ah, it's okay we can pay ourselves," jinghua told him, setting down both hers and saemin's purchases.
jaehyun shook his head. "take it as a congratulation for debuting," he smiled, paying for their items before grabbing his drink and leaving the store to head to class.

jinghua stood by her locker as she fixed the gift she had in her hands. she had heard about jaehyun's debut and wanted to gift him back after his congratulation from last year to her for debuting. she made him a small care package with dabin.
"jiae, did you finish it?" dabin asked her as she walked up to the girl with two drinks in her hands. with a nod, jinghua gratefully took the can and set it on her table before walking back over to her locker, taking the care-package to show her friend. "wah~ you're so talented jiae-yah," dabin complimented.
jinghua giggled. "thank you~ shall we give it to him?" she asked, eyes glancing over to the male who sat with his friends by the window. her friend, dabin nodded and held her arm as jinghua carried the package in hers.
"jaehyun-ah!" dabin called him, making both him and his friends turn to face them. "congratulations on debuting~ don't forget us when you're famous~" she joked, shoving him lightly as his friends laughed.
"congrats jaehyun!" jinghua smiled, extending her arms to give him the care package, in which made their fingers brush against each other. "don't worry about expenses~ our treat! don't forget to share with your members," she winked before leaving with dabin to their desks.

jinghua and jaehyun were both asked by some high school friends to meet up for a catchup dinner on korean barbecue. of course, they both agreed and attended the dinner, seokmin joining jinghua as they walked into the restaurant and waved at their friends.
"wah~ you've gotten prettier," one of their friends told her, his hand resting on his thigh as he stared at the female in front of them. jinghua laughed lightly, sliding to sit beside jaehyun.
"we meet again," she chuckles at him.
he nods and holds a hand out to her. "allow me to formally introduce myself, i am jung yoonoh, but nowadays i go by jaehyun," jinghua giggles at his words. "it's a pleasure to meet you."
jinghua shook his hand, turning her body to face him directly. "annyeong, i'm wang jinghua, you can call me wangji if you'd like," she smiled at him.
