"Did Amma went back home?"Vibha asked and I just nodded , passing the bowl of soup towards her.

"I don't want"she shaked her head

"Have it. Atleast for your baby. You can't sleep on empty stomach"I said and she looked at me with a pained expression , taking the bowl from me.

I got up to leave. She held my hand , stopping me.

"Akka please talk to me. I know you're angry with me. I can't take this silence any longer. Please scold me atleast"she said and it hurted me. I held her hand and gripped it tighter

"I'm not going to scold you. I'm not going to leave you ever as well. You need rest Vibha"I said. She hugged me and I hugged her to my chest

"Sleep well. I'll be outside and call me if you need something"I smiled and she nodded her head. After making her lay down on the hospital bed , I walked outside and sat on the bench.

Tomorrow is Vibha's discharge day. We are taking her back to house tomorrow. I don't know what's running in Amma's mind. She didn't talk to me and neither said a word to Vibha. I dialled her number , but she didn't picked it up. I took her to be in sleep and decided to call her tomorrow morning.

My thoughts got disturbed when my phone buzzed. It was a text from an unknown number.

Unknown : Hi

I wondered whom it might be. A second later it buzzed again.

Unknown : This is Dr. Jay

I felt my breath strucked in my throat. How did he get my number? Probably from my personal bio. Lot of thoughts triggered in my mind. I composed myself and typed a message

Hi

Unknown : Can we meet tomorrow morning? Have an important matter to discuss.

What is he talking about?

Did Anand told him everything else?

Unknown : It's about your sister

I sighed realising that Anand had relayed it to him. Glad about it. Probably he had given my number to Dr. Jay

Let's meet

I typed.

Unknown : Fine. Morning 7 at hospital canteen. See you

He went offline. I saved his number and sighed. I sat blankly for a long time and unknowingly fell asleep.

I woke up early the next day and packed Vibha's clothes. She was awake.

"I'm meeting Anand's brothers today to talk about you both. Hope we will come into a decision"I said

She nodded weakly.

"Take rest until I come. We will leave together. I've booked a cab"I said touching her shoulder. She held my hand and smiled with tears. I hugged her.

"Don't worry. You'll be fine"I said

"Akka please promise me that my baby will be safe. It had become a part of me. Please don't separate my baby from me"she said pleading and my heart bled. I hugged her tightly

"If you want this baby nobody is going to snatch it from you. It's a promise from me"I smiled

"I trust you"she said and I nodded with a smile.

I walked outside the room sometime later. Time was nearing 6.50 in the morning.

I walked to the hospital canteen and took a table. Thankfully It wasn't much crowded today. I tapped my fingers in the table and decided to speak to him as calmly as possible.
