The day following the attack was stressful for Sora. While they had been given the day off of school, she had the task of reporting to the League of Villains to explain her side of the story.

"You guys were completely out of hand―"

"It's our job. We're villains, Arashi." She scowled, crossing her arms as she backed up toward the door. "Now tell us why you went out of your way to oppose us yesterday."

"The plan was to attack All Might. Not innocent students. You should've noticed that he wasn't there and retreated with your numbers, but instead, you decided that trying to murder children was the proper move. I can't condone such actions."

"In case you forgot, we have a goal to reach and that is the overturn of this ridiculous government system where things such as heroes and villains exist. We want freedom. We can't sit back just because of some kids. They chose to get in our way, so they will be dealt with properly." Sora went to speak but was cut off by the low drone of the TV now revealing the big man's voice.

"The class that was attacked was none other than that of the hero course at the most prestigious hero school that is known for teaching the top line of pro heroes. That means that those students―who all apparently were blessed with strong abilities―will only grow and become an even bigger nuisance to the world we aspire to create. Destroying their dreams now only means saving blood from our hands later on. Agreed?"

"No," she replied strongly, not even waiting a second for him to finish speaking. "If you are looking to annihilate the dreams of aspiring heroes, then you're going to have to wipe out my entire generation. That's mass genocide. Even if you were to accomplish that, there's no way in hell anyone else would see you as a leader. In fact, it would make them hate you more.

"Plus, you wouldn't even be able to acquire the numbers to do so. With that being said," she walked forward and leaned on the table. "I recommend not coming after my classmates with malice intent again."

School resumed the next day. However, class 1-A remained mellow and disheartened, the threat of the attack still looming in the back of their minds. The most alarming fact being that the boisterous and loud students had settled down, leaving the classroom a bit heavy.

"Morning," came a man through the door with a tired voice. It was their teacher Aizawa who was still showing damage from the fight. Sora's mood turned sour at the sight of him. The only visible part of the man was his scruffy, black hair as the entirety of his face was wrapped up in bandages like a mummy. It was impressive that he was successfully making his way around the school, though.

"Sensei! You're alright!"

"Can you really call that 'all right'...?" The man moved to his usual spot behind the podium with both of his arms in slings.

"Don't concern yourselves over me. After all, the battle hasn't really ended for you yet." The students held their breaths over the accusation. They had been through enough as it is, what more could they handle. As for Sora, she was utterly confused. As far as she knew, the League had yet to make any more plans.

"The battle?"

"You don't mean..."

"More villains?!" Although he could hardly be seen, one could tell how Aizawa's patience quickly thinned as his students continued to ramble.

"U.A's Sports Festival is approaching, boys and girls."

"Wait, hold up! That sounds like something villains would try to infiltrate... isn't it?! Will it be alright?"

"On the contrary," the teacher denied smoothly. "Since we're going ahead with the festival, it means that the school is confident it has all its ducks in a row when it comes to its crisis control now. I hear police presence will be five times bigger than normal, for example.

"What you should be thinking about is what a huge chance this academy's Sports Festival presents for you all." Sora sat in thought, slowly processing her teacher's words. This would be her first chance to get noticed by pro heroes as well as her first chance and taking a step away from her old life and toward a better future. "This isn't some event that'll be brought to a halt by villains."

Even if they think of trying something, I'll shut it down, Sora promised. "Our Sports Festival is one of Japan's biggest events! In days past, the 'Olympics' was the sports festivity that whipped all the nation into a froth of enthusiasm. But now, as you know, the extent and the population have shrunk and it's lost a lot of substance. So, what has taken the place of the Olympics in Japan is the U.A. Sports Festival!"

The class continued to drone on about what an immaculate opportunity this was for their futures as heroes. However, Sora couldn't help but stress over the fact that Shigaraki would surely hold her "hero internship" over her head.

Following the tense discussion of the upcoming event, the classes of the day droned on. Sora couldn't help but daze off as she looked at the board in front of her. She had never been a super intelligent girl, but it seemed that she was having the easiest time with her classes. And before she knew it, lunch had rolled around.

The silver-haired girl stood up from her seat and began away from her desk when a certain redhead called out.

"Hey, Sora! Wanna eat lunch with us today?" The girl looked over to Kirishima whose spiky smile sparkled as usual even though the previous day had been hectic. She then glanced at Kaminari who was smiling expectantly at her.

It couldn't hurt, right?

Sora nodded and began following them out of the classroom while they whooped and hollered about getting her to join them. The lightning maniac bolted off as soon as they stepped into the cafeteria, presumably to grab a table. This left Sora with the bright redhead who began ordering his food from Lunch Rush. "Sorry for the sudden invite," he began. "I just wanted to make sure you had good company while eating." He shot her a quick wink and moved to the side with his and his friend's food.

Sora then grabbed her order of cold soba and followed.

"I appreciate it." Kirishima seemed so trustworthy and friendly, she felt as if she couldn't help but open up to him. "I've never had very many friends before." She gave him a weak attempt at a smile, but a smile nonetheless.

"I'm glad you consider us friends." They had finally arrived at the table only to find the blonde sitting with (and irritating) the one and only Bakugou Katsuki who simply wanted to enjoy his curry. Alongside Kaminari was also Ashido Mina who blabbered on with her brainless friend. Kirishima instinctively sat next to the explosive blonde, the black-haired boy Sero sliding in on the redhead's side from who knows where. This left only one spot open and that was on the far end opposite Bakugou.

Not wanting to protest their friend group, she silently took her seat and began eating her noodles.

"So, the Sports Festival, huh?"

"Yeah. It's crazy that they just throw us into it right at the beginning of the year. I'm definitely not ready!"

"Then train," was Sora's blunt response. The boys chuckled at her shortness.

"She's right," mused Sero, leaning back into his seat. The conversation continued on, the girl only being broken out of her food coma by a kick to her shoes. Her cold eyes shot up and met with deep crimson ones. Bakugou stared her down intensely, not blinking once.

"Oi," he grumbled lowly. "You're training with me." Sora cocked a brow and continued the game of footsy that he'd started. She clasped her ankles around his, anchoring him to her. He cocked a brow at her actions.

"And why should I?" She leaned closer to the table.

"You said that you're heat resistant." He leaned in as well to match her stare. "Let's test it." Sora narrowed her eyes but leaned back, giving in to this battle. She crossed her arms and released her hold on his feet.

Training with the strongest of the class only had benefits, right? Perfect opportunity.
