Chapter Ten

I look at him, he placed the bag in my table, when look at it I know its from
a fancy restaurant by the name
of it,

"Oh you really dont have to, but how much is it Officer?"I ask and lean to grab my wallet from my bag when
he holds my hand to stop.

"oh you dont have to Officer Kim, its
my treat." he said while holding my
hand, in the corner of my eyes I saw Lisa and Seulgi went in, she look at my hand and furrowed her brows before walking to her table, I quickly pull out my hand and nod at
Officer Kai.

"oh you really dont have to but thank you Officer Kai." I mumble. He smile at me widely.

"its my pleasure Officer Kim, hope
you enjoy your dinner."

"I will, thank you"I smile at him before I look inside the paper bag, its a steak, Im not fan of meat but
I dont have a choice. I pull out the Styrofoam, Officer Kai went outside when someone call for his presence.

Seulgi walk towards us holding a paper bag which I guess their dinner when she glance at my table or the food on my table and she look at
Lisa.

"oh you already have your dinner Officer Kim." She look at the steak confusedly.

"oh yes Officer Kang, Officer Kai gave it to me." I said and glance at Lisa, she was just looking at us, Seulgi nodded and look at Lisa and walk towards her table. I cleaned my table so I can eat.

"now who will eat this salad Lis?!"I heard her ask Lisa, I open my food, it was a steak with asparagus and mash potato. "I will eat them Kang,
give it to me."

"no, you dont eat vegetables, ill give it
to her." Seulgi hissed back, I can sense
they tried to lower their voice but
Lisas table is only meter away from
mine I can still hear their conversation, is she talking about me? Did Lisa buy me that salad?

"I said I will eat it Officer Kang." I heard her say sternly, the line went silent so I continue to eat and shrug it off, maybe its not me.

I took a bite on my steak when
a Tupperware was place beside me, why does I received a lot of food today?

"Kang Seulgi! get back here!" I look up to see Seulgi standing in front of my table and Lisa was calling her name. She look at Lisa annoyingly.

"oh shut up" she said then look at me.
"Lisa buy that for you, she said she will eat it, but she dont eat vegetables." I glance at her to see her covering her face with hands rubbing it in frustration, the Seulgi lean to me
to whisper.

"shes stubborn to give it to you since you already have your food."

I chuckle and Seulgi laugh when she
lean back, Lisa never look at us and
just continue eating her food.

"tell her my thanks, I prefer this than
Officer Kai's" I smile at her and wink
playfully, she saluted at me
before she walk back to Lisas table,
She said something to Lisa
making her glance at me so I smile
but she look away quickly looking
down, but I saw red tint on her
cheeks making me smile widely.

I set aside the steak and went to eat the Vegetable salad Lisa bought and starts to devour it.

when I finish it, I barely eat half of my steak and decided to let it go and put back to the bag to throw, I stood up to throw it along with the containers when I meet Lisa along the way, shes
also holding a paper bag. So I took the chance to thank her personally.

"thank you for the salad Officer." I walk beside her, she look at me then look at the front.

"oh uhm yeah, youre welcome."
