Chapter 85: Soaked in the Rain

Laika's Pov.

"I'll head outside for a minute." saad ko sa sekretarya ko sa oras na maka labas ako ng opisina ko.

Pag labas ko, naka abang na ang kotse na sasakyan ko. I'm the one who's driving the car, sinipag ako mag maneho ngayon hindi ko lang alam kung bakit. It's exactly 1PM in the afternoon, i have nothing left schedules naman so i decided to bought some cake for Brian. He still looked disappointed, as you can remember friendsary namin nung isang araw, and he was the only who remembered. Na-guity kase ako this pass few days.

Guess what kung saan ko kukunin yung cake? Of course sa restaurant ni Kylo!

He already knew i was coming to fetch the cake, pero nasabi ko mga 4 ko pa kukunin. Pina-aga kona because im not sure of my schedule, baka kasi may biglaan na meeting at hindi ko makuha.

As i pass by Kylo's restaurant, the parking was full. Hindi naman naging problema 'yun dahil nag park nalang ako sa malayo-layong konti, after parking the car bumaba na ako dala ang payong ko because i have a feeling na uulan.

Nag simula na akong mag lakad, mahigit limang minuto bago ako maka dating doon. I'm sweating as heck, grabe.

"Oh." Someone approached me, just like who i thought it was.

"Kylo." masayang tugon ko, i gave him a friendly hug. "How have you been?"

"Totally fine." He laughed. "Anyways, akala ko by 4PM ka pa pupunta?"

"I wasn't sure about my schedule 'e. Is it done na ba?" i asked.

"Almost." Lumapit kami sa counter. I saw the wide dining inside, naagaw ng atensyon ko ang mismong cake na inorder ko. "They'll just put an icing, then it's done."

"Aw, thankyou." i said and laughed. "Oh, it's been a while. Napano na kayo ni Krisha?" i teased.

Oh god, everyone knows that Kylo has feelings for this young lady named Krisha. I think they're perfect matches, ewan ko lang kay Krisha. She doesn't trust anyone na obviously when it comes to love, but siyempre. Kaibigan niya kami, sa ayaw at sa gusto niya aasarin namin siya kay Kylo.

She's almost feeling the same. But i know something's stopping her. And I'll respect her decision.

"Good." He smiled. "How is she?"

"Why don't you ask for yourself?" I teased, "Tanungi mo kung kumusta siya, after that ask her out--"

"Laika." He stopped me pero hindi niya talaga matago ang ngiti sa labi niya, kinikilig 'e.

"C'mon." Pabiro ko siyang inirapan. "You'll have a chance, trust me."

"Trust me, the cake is ready."

Naagaw ng atensyon ko ang kinuha niya sa staff sa restaurant niya. It was a wide box, obviously has a cake inside.

"I guess i'll go na." i laughed after taking the cake, "Salamat ah."

"No problem." He winked. "Anyways, i forgot to ask. Who are you giving that?"

"Brian." diretsyong pag amin ko, wala namang mali diba?

He gave me a teasing look and that made me laugh for a reason. "Ikaw ah, what's going on between you two?",

"Wala." sagot ko, "C'mon, stop staring at me like that. We're just friends!"

"Friends pala ah." he laughed, "Osige na. Ingat ka ah."

"You too, salamat ulit." I said and left a wave before exiting the resto.
