As I was working, I was so an anxious, yet excited for what was to happen after work, our date. As I dozed off and looked at the clock, there was only an hour left for work! Excited I tried to preoccupy my mind by actually doing my work. As the hour neared a close, I was ready for our date.

Changing into something casual. As I waited in a booth I couldn't help but ask myself why me? I for sure think he could get someone way better than me, like a supermodel. As I was deep in thought I started to day dream. Thinking of how everything would go, then my mind wandered off to negative things. Slightly frowning at this I soon saw someone standing in front of me, holding red roses, my favorite.

"Hello beautiful." I smile knowing that accent all to well. I looked up to see Zayn smiling broadly down at me.

"Zayn! You came!" I said smiling just as he was.

He looked at me puzzled and said" Now why would you think I would give such an amazing opportunity up on a beautiful, gorgeous, girl?"

Blushing a bit I said "Oh thank you. Are those flowers for me?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Why yes they are, exquisite flowers for an exquisite girl." He complemented again

I smiled again and accepted his beautiful bouquet of roses.

"Are you ready to go on our date now?" Holding out his hand, gesturing for me to grab it.

I accepted it but he knelt down and kissed my knuckles and I stayed still, blushing even more if it was possible. 'Gosh if this keeps going on I'm going to be pink the whole time were on our date!'

As we made our way to his amazingly shiny new car he opened the passenger door for me. 'He's such a gentleman I thought.'

As I climbed into the car he got on the drivers side, starting up the car I asked "So where are we going?" I knew my curiosity would get the best of me.

"Well aren't we curious." He said while giving me a playful Smirk. "It's a surprise." He said sincerely.

I still couldn't help but wonder where we were going.

I was just hoping it wouldn't be over the top.

"So how was school?" He asked

I explained to him everything that had occurred today but left out the part with my friend telling me about the big boy band in town, knowing he would be that interested and if he was interested, he would be weirded out by her 'sex gods and exploding ovaries'.

As he neared to a stop I looked up to see a beautiful restaurant flooded with lights and booths, a lot of people were dressed formally for this restaurant though, I looked down to see me wearing a white tank top with a cardigan, skinny jeans, and white toms. Slightly embarrassed and Zayn took notice and said "Don't worry, I'm with you, nothing will happen."

I looked at him with a smile not to sure just yet. He walked around to help me out the car. I had just noticed he was wearing a blue and white plaid button up shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and blue and white nikes.

'He dressed casual also.'I thought to myself.

As he held my hand, we walked into the restaurant and up to the front.

"Reservation for Zayn Malik table for two." Zayn said to the man at the desk.

"Ah Mr. Malik right over here."he said and went to go show us to a well hidden booth. "I will go get your waitress for you, one moment."

'Ah so that's his last name, Malik'' I thought to myself.

I wondered why we were in such a private area but I didn't want to seem rude so I didn't dare ask. Instead I wanted to hear more about Zayn since he had been been letting me do the talking the whole time.

"So Zayn, how was your day?" I asked, very shy by the fact this was our first date and my official first date I've ever had.

"Well it was okay but you made it all the better just by seeing you, love." He said flirtatiously.

'Gosh he knows how to say the most amazing things' I thought smiling.

As we started to ask simple questions, our waitress appeared. She handed us our menus and asked us what we would like to drink.

"I'll have a lemonade." I said quite happy because I was parched.

"I'll have a Sprite." Zayn said after me.

"Okay I'll be back in a bit, until then, look at our selection of meals!" She said with enthusiasm.

As I opened my menu I barely understood any of what the menu said, it was an Italian restaurant by the little Italian I knew from past references. Don't get me wrong I love Italian food as much as the next person but I could not understand this. Soon I just gave up, and asked Zayn what he was ordering.

He answered me by removing his menu from his face "Im going to try the Penne al Fonto, something my friends have been begging me to try." He said slightly smiling at the past memory I assume.

"Well I'm going to get that too." I said.

"Why so?" Zayn asked all of a sudden curious.

"Um no reason." Suddenly embarrassed by the fact that I couldn't read the menu.

"If you need help reading the menu..." Zayn said drifting off.

"No, it's okay actually." Appreciating his offer.

Before he could push any further on helping me the waitress came.

" I have your drinks for you!" She said with quite too much enthusiasm for just drinks.

Handing me my lemonade and Zayn his Sprite she said "Have you two decided what to order?"

"Yes the Penne al Fonto." Zayn said.

"I'll have the same." I said look at Zayn and have him a small genuine smile.

"Okay ill be back soon with your food." The waitress said with a smile.

As she left Zayn looked at me, his eyes gleaming with joy.

"What?" I asked curious to see why he was so happy.

"What do you mean 'what'?" Still with the joy in his eyes and smirked.

"Why do you look so happy?" I asked honestly not seeing why he was so happy.

"I'm happy because I'm with you." He said suddenly serious his hazel eyes burning into my core.

I looked back at him blushing but kept my stare with him. I never paid attention to his eyes. They were the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, he was beautiful. How I got to be with him I wouldn't know but I would enjoy it while I could knowing he could be with anyone else but he chose me. That made me feel, special.
