Popping the last piece of the snack, Dean threw the empty bag and searched for a new one. When he found none, began to grumble,

"If the old man doesn’t show up, I'll kill Tom"

Sam was reading a book, without looking up he said, "Relax, Tom said he's sure that the man will come"

"We should've brought him with us", Dean huffed.

"Nah, can't risk it. If someone recognizes him, our whole plan will fail"

Knowing Sam was right, Dean shut his mouth. A few days ago, Tom called Sam telling he finally found the 'Loyal Man' even though it took him more than one month. The boy said the man often volunteered at an open kitchen, a local food bank for the homeless people. But it had been over two hours, the Winchesters were waiting in front of the place and there was no trace of the man.

Dean was about to pull out his phone to call Castiel who was again stuck with babysitting Fayre. But Sam gave him a look, knowing it was his third time calling the angel.

"Dean, they're fine. If something happens, Cas'll know what to do. Don't forget Fayre was with him the entire time when we were captured by the government. Cas won’t let anything happen to her"

"I know. It's just....everything's happening lately, I don't want her away from me", Dean murmured.

Knowing it was just a parent's concern, Sam didn’t push him. The elder Winchester was debating whether to call or not when saw a man in his sixties who matched Tom's description entering the building.

Putting the phone away, Dean got out of the car and gestured Sam to enter through the backdoor in case the old man tried to flee.

Inside the building, Dean's eyes danced around the room trying to locate the man. He didn’t have to work hard. The old man was sitting far in the corner, looking straight at the hunter as if he himself was waiting for Dean.

The elder Winchester's brow gathered, face transformed into confusion.

Was this a trap?, he thought.

Carefully, he walked to him. The old man looked harmless but Dean still had his gun drawn close.

The man smiled and said, "Don't worry, it’s not a trap. Why don't you call your brother and tell him to come here. It’s better if we all talk face to face"
