Premise: It's a few weeks after Lydia and JJ admit their feelings for each other, but decide to be friends for the sake of the group. They both are distracting themselves with other people. Lydia and Alex have been seeing each other for a few weeks and JJ was still fooling around with Heather.

Lydia had almost forgotten about what was said on the dock that night. The key word was almost, because she was thrilled to be with Alex but hated the fact that it also meant that JJ could bring around Heather. For some reason, JJ had stayed pretty committed to her, none of the pogues really understood why. They knew they were definitely in the middle of something bigger going on between JJ and Lydia. They saw the way they pretended to be content with the people they were with.

Lydia was approaching the cottage that Alex and his family were renting for the summer. She tapped on the screen door a few times, but no one answered. She frowned slightly, having ditched the pogues because he asked to hang out. So, she decided she would just go in and hope to find Alex.

She walked down the familiar hallway she had gotten to know in the weeks she had been spending with him. At the very end of the hall was Alex's room, the door was closed and she hesitated. She wasn't sure if she should've even been in the house. So she knocked on the door. She was met with a beet red, Alex looking through a small crack in the door, the only clothing on his body were the sheets he casually wrapped around his waist

"Alex?" Lydia asked

"Hey, Lyds. Um what are you doing here?" Alex was confused, she had told him that she was hanging with the pogues today

"You texted me 20 minutes ago and asked me to come over" Lydia trailed off, none of this making any sense

"Hey, honey?" A voice called from behind the door
