Mike's Point of View

I walked off the bus and punched the side of the bus. I was really mad at Tony but I was more worried about Karen. I ran in her direction and ended up finding her sitting on a park bench by herself. I ran over to her and wrapped my arms around her. She fell into my arms and started sobbing into my chest. "Sh baby it's okay." I rubbed her back slowly. "I'll protect you Karen i'll protect you forever, i'm sorry that Tony hurt you." I kissed her head and she stopped crying. "Tony was the first person to hit me in 4 years." "Sh baby it's okay." Karen pulled her legs up on my lap and I held her close to me. "I'll protect you Karen." she stopped crying and I continued to hold her. "I love you Karen." I kissed her forehead. "I love you too Mike." "I promise i'll never let anything or anyone hurt you again." I kissed her lips and she kissed me back.

Karen's Point of View

I picked up the last box from my apartment that contained nothing but paint and old sketch books and walked downstairs. I put it in the moving truck and closed the doors to it. I looked up at the building. I have so many memories here, it was going to be hard to leave. I shrugged and got into the moving truck with Josh. "You got everything?" he asked shooting me a smile. I nodded and we drove onto the freeway. "So Tony hit you not Mike?" he questioned for like the millionth time. "Yes Joshy it was my brother Mike didn't hit me. He wouldn't or at least I don't think he will." he sighed "Well just remember you have me on speed dial. If you need anything call me." I nodded and we drove down the highways listening to music. I got my phone out of my pocket and went on Instagram. Since me and Mike went public I got a lot of new followers which was pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

I scrolled through till I got to a newish picture that Mike had posted of me. It was a selfie I had taken on his phone the last day of Warped Tour. I was wearing my glasses and didn't have much makeup on and it was at a really awkward angle. I looked like I had 5 chins but Mike said I was beautiful. I laughed at what he had captioned it. 'note to self stop letting @Karen_thee_kat taking selfies on my phone...' I liked the picture and looked at some of the comments. Most of them were asking what happened to Jen. I laughed and went through the popular page and saw random pictures I liked a few of them and we kept driving.

"Finally were here!" I screamed out as we pulled up to my new apartment building in the sunny San Diego California. I missed this place i'm not even going to lie about that but it was almost scary seeing it again. Josh helped me carry all my crap upstairs before he knocked out on my couch I laughed and walked into the spare room and started setting it up for my studio. This was my favorite room in my place so far. It had a giant window which let in the perfect amount of natural light for pretty much everything. I finished assembling my desk and put up some of the artwork I had in my old studio before I walked over to the built in bookcase and put my reference books in it. I put the paint I had on the second shelf and finally my old sketch books in the bottom shelf. I walked into the master bedroom as the land lord had called it. I hated the light blue paint on the walls with the tacky white cloud ceiling. This was the first room that will be painted, I made the mental note to go to home depo and buy paint. I walked out in the living room to find an awake Josh eating a bowl of cereal. I laughed and sat next to him getting my own cereal.

"It's gonna be weird you not living upstairs." he said with a mouthful of captain crunch in his mouth I laughed "Well I'm gonna come up all the time so don't worry." I playfully hit his arm. "Ow." he turned to me "Is it abuse Josh day already?" I nodded he let out a throaty laugh "Okay so when do you start work?" "Tomorrow morning." I smiled. Thank god I was able to get my first tattoo shop job back. I smiled remembering I got to work with a bunch of awesome artist I already knew. Josh told me he planned on leaving on Friday and since today was Monday it meant I got to spend a little bit of time with him, which is always good in my book.
