Liam's POV
After a few hours we were all able to get back in the hospital. Ashton and I practically raced to the front counter when Harry was nowhere to be found in the waiting room.
"Is there any information on Lena Payne?" We asked at the same time.
The woman typed some things in on her computer screen and then turned to us. "Are either one of you her emergency contact or an immediate family member?" She asked.
"I'm her emergency contact." Ashton said.
"I'm her brother." I said at the same time.
"Okay. Miss Payne woke up about an hour ago." The woman said.
"Is she okay? What's wrong with her?" I asked.
"I'm afraid that doctor/patient confidentiality is active here. I cannot tell you Lena's rest results." She said.
"I'm her legal guardian for gods sake!" I cried.
"Miss Payne is eighteen. She is an adult." She said.
I groaned.
"Thank you for your help." Ashton said.
We began to walk away, not speaking to each other. Zayn suddenly burst in the door, followed by Perrie.
"We just heard what happened. How is she?" Zayn asked.
"She's okay. At least we think. Evil Bitch over there says she's awake." Ashton said, making me smile a little. I tried to hide it.
"When can we see her?" Luke asked.
"She didn't say." I said.
That's when Harry came out the door. He looked pale, and shocked. "Harry?" Niall questioned.
"She's okay." He said.
"You were with her?!" Ashton demanded.
"Someone had to be!" Louis argued.
"Not you, asshole!" Ashton said, raising his voice.
"Would you calm down?" I demanded.
"Shut up!" He hissed.
"Yo Mikey, keep your boy calm over here." Louis snapped, defending me.
"Why don't you calm your boy down a little?" Mikey retorted.
"You wanna go, asshole?" Louis challenged.
"Back off him." Calum warned.
"Both of you stop!" Kathryn yelled.
"Stay out of this!" Michael said.
"Don't talk to her like that." Niall warned.
"Leave them alone." Luke said.
"That's it! Stop it! Stop fighting!" Lottie cried.
But nobody heard her.
"Guys! Lena's awake! Stop fighting! Ashton, Lena is asking for you. She's asking for all of us, but specifically before doing the same to my lips.
"Hey." I said tiredly.
"I'm relived. I thought there'd be tubes and wires hooked to you." Calum said.
"Nope. Tube and wire free." I said with a weak smile.
"I'm glad you're okay, Lena." Luke said.
"You scared the shit out of us!" Michael said.
I giggled a little. "Sorry. I didn't mean to." I said.
