Ash's POV

"Is she..?" Professor Oak asked, I sighed and looked him straight in the eye "Professor Oak, this is Angela Ketchum, she is 8 years old, and your intuition is correct she is Ash Ketchum's little sister" I said, he looked at Angela and Pat her head softly "I live close to Delia and yet I never noticed this little one there" Prof. Oak said honestly "Delia must be doing a great job hiding her from the world" I heard Prof. Oak mutter, I scoff and turned back to the window "Hey Red, I wanted to ask something very important...for a long time I've always wondered.." Serena said I gave her a glance as a sign to ask "What do you think the reason Ash's Mom betrayed Ash?" Serena asked, I growled and grit my teeth "That's something we don't know dear, it may be because of this little one" Professor Oak said as he Pat Angela's head "Or something darker" Prof. Oak added, Serena looked at me, my face had a painful expression on it, I pulled down my hat to cover my face "I'm. going out for a walk, you guys finish eating up.. I'll meet you at the arena" I said and walked out of the Pokemon center, I walked into the forest, deep into the forest I sat near a river, and for some reason, I started sobbing... "Why am I crying..? I don't care.. right..? I don't care about that fake mother.. of mine.." with that I started crying loudly, for 11 years, she's taken care of me, she was the only one I could go home to, her betrayal still hurts, my heart clenches whenever I see her smile, my eyes get foggy whenever I see her, my mind becomes messed up when I know she doesn't need me anymore "Why her.. it was fine with the others.. but why her as well..?" I cried to the moon, Pikachu sat next to me trying to comfort me "And why the hell am I just crying about it now..? it's been 7 damn years!" I scolded myself, 'Ash.. calm down..' Pikachu told me, two of my other Pokemon came out 'Ash.. calm down' Greninja said and rubbed my back 'Master please don't cry' Lucario said, I clenched my hat in my hands, the Hat 'She' gave me, "Ash.." I heard a voice say, it wasn't Pikachu, Nor Greninja nor Lucario, we took caution and got in a fighting stance, I looked around and saw a figure come out the Forest's Darkness, he looked me in the eyes, my stance softened and I smiled at the figure sadly "Hi... Red" I said "Hi Ash.. mind telling me What's wrong? maybe I can help a bit" he told me, I chuckled sadly at him "Why show up now... Dad?" I asked he smiled at me painfully "I lost their tail on me, after 20 years" he said, I sat back down and he sat next to me "whose tail?" I asked as I stared at the running water "Team Rocket" he said, I grabbed a stone somewhere and threw it in the river "Figures" I said "you don't seem too shocked to see me, son" He said "I already locked eyes with you twice, it's not that shocking anymore" I said truthfully, he chuckled and Pat my back "hey Dad, I have a question" I said, "What is it, Ash?" He asked, "Is Angela your child?" I asked he turned his attention to the river "Sadly no... I'd love her to be though.." He said sadly "since your back why not officially get divorced and gain custody?" I asked "How can I do that? she isn't my legitimate child" he said "Simple, Delia is on warning for how she treats Angela" I said, "Isn't that enough?" I added "It's not that simple Ash, she might have something to back that up," He said, "Like what?" I asked "The fact that I didn't watch you grow up makes me an irresponsible father," he said, I sighed 'that's right... I forgot about that' I thought, I felt him put a hand on my back "Let's talk another time, you still have a match to get to" he said with a smile, I smiled and nodded "I'll be going now Dad.. watch me win this tournament" I said, the 11-year-old me coming out, he chuckled "I'll be watching" He said, I ran off with Pikachu, Greninja and Lucario, I feel a lot better because of Dad, I feel so hyped now, I ran to the stadium with such a huge smile, I saw Serena and I talked to her with aura 'Hey Serena, it's Red! tell the guys I'm here already, I'll go straight to the lockers' after that she looked around so confused and saw me, I waved at her and she saw my smile, she smiled and waved back and gave me a thumbs-up, I then went to the lockers, I took out my UltraDex and chose what Pokemon other than Pikachu I'll use against Misty, to sort of Hide Pikachu's true Power, I saw one particular Pokemon as I scroll through my UltraDex, I smiled and got that Pokemon's Poke ball "Greninja, Lucario, thanks for everything, you can return now" I said as I returned them to their Poke balls, Pikachu hopped on my Shoulder and nuzzled me 'I'm glad you feel better now Ash' Pikachu said with telepathy "Thank's for worrying about me so much bud" I thanked, he chuckled and pat my head

Gary's POV

"Dragonite dodge!" Lance called "Blastoise don't let him dodge!" I said we were both on our last Pokemon, if I hit Him just once then I win "Blastoise water gun" I said and it hit, I looked over at Dragonite and saw that it was unconscious, I sighed in relief "Dragonite is unable to battle! the match goes to Blue!" The referee announced, the crowd went wild, we shook hands and both left the field, I went to the lockers and saw Ash, I scoff and approach him "You done wailing?" I asked as a tease, he chuckled "who said I was wailing?" he said and messed up my hair "You beat Kanto's Champion, how do you feel?" He said. I looked over to the field "You know.. when we both set off on our journey, I thought beating The Champion will make me amazing" I said as I look back at him "I don't feel anything special at all" I said "Battling isn't for me" there, I finally told him "I know Idiot, you want to follow your Gramps' footsteps" he said with such a kind smile "Who in Arceus are you, you're not the Red I know" I said aloud and he chuckled and pat my head "After this tournament let's ask Gramps about you taking over for him" He told me "Yeah" I said with my normal smile
