CHAPTER 26: HAMMERS AND....MANGA?

Knockout grumbled to himself as he buffed himself up. He scowled at the numerous scratches on his paint job. Breakdown on the other hand was fuming.

He got beaten by a rookie! Of all the bots he got beaten by Smokescreen, the rookie and he was no more than a mechling! Breakdown wasn't exactly smart but even he could tell that Smokescreen couldn't have been older than the scout, Bumblebee.

"That rookie better hope we don't meet again soon." Knockout grumbled darkly as he thought of various methods of torture to put the Autobot rookie through for scratching his finish.

"We better hope Lord Megatron doesn't rip our sparks out for letting him get away." Breakdown said.

"Don't worry, I've got a backup plan." Knockout said.

"And that is?" Breakdown asked.

Knockout sighed. "You never notice the details do you?" he said. "The picture back in Egypt, remember?"

"Which one?" Breakdown asked.

"This one." Knockout said and showed him the picture of the Egyptian brandishing the black hammer. "Don't you recognize the hammer? It's an Alterare."

"But that's only a myth." Breakdown said.

Knockout raised an optic ridge. "Breakdown, Lord Megatron once nearly brought an army of undead Cybertronians to Earth, how is this so hard to believe?"

"Fair point." Breakdown said.

The doors to Knockout's lab opened and Megatron walked in with Starscream and Soundwave in tow. "Knockout, Breakdown, report. Did you find anything of interest?" Megatron asked.

"Actually we found two, my liege." Knockout said. "Team Prime's got themselves another human ally. A girl, she looks similar to the other girl who hangs around Bulkhead."

"Is that so?" Megatron asked filing the information in his processor. "Is this human close to any particular Autobot?" he knows that Optimus being the concerned, selfless bot he was would definitely have assigned a guardian of sorts to the human.

"It seems she's pretty chummy with Team Prime's newest recruit, Smokescreen." Knockout said.

"I see. Now, what is this second interesting discovery you have mentioned?" Megatron asked.

"This." Knockout said and showed Megatron the Egyptian picture.

Megatron saw the hammer and it clicked almost instantly. "An Alterare." Starscream breathed out in awe and shock.

"The Alterare. I doubt there are others." Megatron corrected.

"I don't mean to interrupt but where is it exactly?" Breakdown asked.

Soundwave simply stepped forward and his tentacles shot out towards Knockout.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Knockout asked taking a step back. Soundwave pointed a sharp digit towards the picture. "Well why didn't you just say so." Knockout huffed and allowed him to download it.

Soundwave scanned it and saw the Morse code message. He instantly translated it and showed them the coordinates and locations to Japan.
