I'm AJ, Trey Songz best friend when we were younger. Yeah, I know, being his best friend sort of put me in the friend zone. I mean, I always liked him since I first met him in kindergarten. I could never tell him I loved him, it could've ruined our friendship. From never telling him how I felt, I had to watch him date other girls that weren't any good for him. Every time I would try tell him that, he would blow me off saying I was jealous. I was, but I wouldn't admit it.
Moving past his past relationships, I actually told him to pursue his dream in music. Thank god, I mean just look at him now, fine as ever. Sometimes I wished we hung out more, but I understood his music was important. Only a year ago we lost touch, probably because he was blowing up with his new album being released. I tried to get back in touch with him, but it was no use. I felt like I lost my best friend for good, but hopefully one day we would meet again.
