"Perfect. That's how the world feels when I'm with you"
It's been a long time since Raine experienced how it feels like to love and to be loved. Pagkatapos ng maraming break ups, natutunan niyang gawing manhid ang kanyang puso upang hindi...
" Oh, wag mong kalimutan,ah. May utang ka sakin." paalala pa ni Claurent habang nag-uusap kami sa kwarto ko.
" Anong utang?!" I exclaimed.
" Well...don't act like hindi mo rin ako nasaktan by pretending to be with Ethan." nang sabihin niya yun ay natigilan naman ako.
" H-how did you know?"
" Ethan told me. Nag come out na siya sa akin. Uhm, by the way, why were you doing it?" she asked curiously.
" Well, we were trying to get someone jealous." sagot ko sa kanya.
" Ako ba yun? Kasi kung ako, aaminin ko na nagselos talaga ako." amin niya sa akin at natawa nalang ako sa kanya.
" Di ah. Ba't ka naman namin paseselosin?" I raised my eyebrow at her.
" Kasi gusto mong malaman kung hanggang saan ang kaya kong gawin para ipaglaban ka." namula naman ang mga pisngi ko sa sinabi niya and I shook my head.
" Close enough. Pero you're wrong. Ethan asked me to act like that kasi he wants Nate to get jealous." paliwanag ko sa kanya at bigla namang nangunot ang mga noo niya habang tinitingnan ako ng masama, " W-what?" tanong ko sa kanya.
" Akala ko ba ako yung gusto mo? Bakit gusto nyong magselos si Nate sa inyo? Wag mong sabihing gusto mong makita kung paano ka niya ipaglaban? Ace naman! Ayusin mo nga ako. Para akong tanga dito eh, sino ba talaga ang gusto mo?!" inis na inis niyang tanong.
" Shhh! Shane! Haha ang ingay mo! Hindi yun yung dahilan! Makinig ka nga," I whined at her and her face softened a bit,
" The reason why Ethan wanted Nate to get jealous of us is because may gusto si Ethan sa kanya." as soon as I said that, Claurent's reaction was priceless. It was like a huge slap on her and she just facepalmed.
" Oh, fuck! But di ko naisip yun?! Ay gago...tanga ko talaga!"
" Wait, anong ibig mong sabihin? Alam mo na pala?" I curiously asked, referring to Ethan's sexuality.
" Yep, he told me earlier. Nainis nga ako sakanya ng konti eh kasi di niya sinabi sa amin. Kung natanggap ako nina Nate, Clark at Loui, edi lalong-lalo na siya, diba?" tumango nalang ako sa sinabi ni Claurent.
" Tsaka, that 'jealous' thing you did on us, that was honestly unnecessary if you ask me. Bakit di nalang siya umamin ng diretso kay Nate?"
" Maybe he's afraid to lose him." I said as I stared at the lava lamp situated on top of my mini-bookshelf.
" Yeah, maybe."
We became silent after that. This time, it's not an awkward one. It was comfortable. We just sat there on my bed, enjoying each other's presence.
Then, a sound of a watch alarm went off, indicating that it was 9:00 pm.
Claurent stood up before smiling down at me, " Well, I have to go home. Tsaka malayo yung naparkingan ko eh." she said before bending down and planted a kiss on my forehead.
Aalis na sana siya but then I tugged her wrist, which made her turn back at me.
" What?"
" Stay, please." I softly pleaded and she just smirked before moving dangerously close to my face and whispered, " Sabihin mo lang kung gusto mo kong gapangin, kusa ko namang ibibigay to sayo eh" pagkatapos niyang sabihin yun ay ngumiti sya ng nakakaloko.
My heart skipped a beat. I don't know what she's doing but whatever it is, she's making my heart pound so fast.
" Pinagsasabi mo? Tabi nga, magpupunas lang ako." I pushed her face away from mine before standing up and getting my sleepwear. Dali dali naman akong pumasok sa shower at hindi ko na tiningnan ang expression ni Shane because I know she's only going to tease me more.

Paglabas ko ng shower ay naghanap ako ng masusuot ni Shane.
I bent down a bit to reach the shirt that was placed further down my closet.
" Ace, stop flashing me with your perfect body, will you? Baka di ako makapag-pigil eh," pang-aasar niya sa akin.
Shemay, first time niya nga pala ako nakita on my sleepwear. Usually kasi, medyo exposed yung mga sinusuot ko kasi naiinitan ako.

When I turned around, I saw Claurent staring at my body, then she bit her lip.
" S-shut up! Mag half-bath ka na nga din!" I scolded her habang binato sa mukha niya yung shirt at sweatpants.
Pagkatapos niya sa shower ay tumambad sa kanya ang isang malaking unan na nakalagay sa gitna ng kama ko. Napakunot naman ang noo niya. " Aw, fuck no...we're not doing this boundary thing!" reklamo pa niya habang tinuturo yung malaking unan.
" Wag kana magreklamo, pasalamat ka nga..I allow you to sleep on my bed at hindi sa floor." I raised my eyebrow at her.
She whined more as she dropped herself on her side of the bed. That was then I noticed how hot she looks even in sweatpants.

She noticed I was staring so she smirked.When I realized I was actually checking her out, I quickly shook my head and situated myself on my side of the bed and turned off the lights so the only thing that illuminates the room is the lava lamp. I muttered a 'good night' at her.
" Babyyyy..." she whined again. I swear it's like having a kid with me everytime na kami lang dalawa.
" What?" I turned to her.
" Kunin mo to," she demanded while poking at the bolster.
" No, and go to sleep, it's late." I said in a firm voice and she just whined more.
" Shane, gusto mo sa sahig?" I threatened and it was enough to shut her up.
As I close my eyes, I felt a smile creeping in my face.
Gosh, now I know how it feels to lay in bed with someone you love.
