CHAPTER SIX
Arthur entered through automatic doors into the reception area of the cloning facility. There were ten cubicled areas within the oval room. At the centre of these was a large oval seat capable of seating ten people at once. A Valusian female glided towards him.
"Greetings," said the Valusian, "how can we help you?"
"I would like to make a clone please."
"What would the clone be?"
"Me, because (in the voice of Marlene Dietrich), "I want to be a clone!""
"You don't want to be a clone, you want a clone of yourself. Would you like it to be the same age as you are now?"
"Yes please."
"And with the same memories?"
"Yes, but could you make it so that it is not as funny as me?"
