You spaced out for what felt like minutes, but it must have been hours because your butt was numb and your surroundings were different. The boat had stopped underneath a large cavern of bamboo-like trees that shadowed everything underneath. Above the longboat the bright green beam of light glowed intensely. The yellow light raced back and forth, indicating you were near the Treasure. Up ahead, you saw the morning sun peek through tall trees in slits.

You saw Jim and Silver jump off, as well as the pirates except for one obese one.

You leaned forward to the edge of your seat. The red alien grunted and raised his gun as a warning.

You ignored him and called out, "Jim!"

Jim turned his body. Silver heard you too and craned his neck to see you.

"She goes with us," you heard Jim say to him.

Silver narrowed his eyes. He must be thinking of the things you said to him yesterday. You knew more about him than even his own crew. How could you use that against him? Silver hummed and scratched his chin.

"No."

The blood withdrew from your face.

"What?" Jim asked.

"I said no, Jimbo. Can't ya hear well?" Silver placed his hands on his hips, a smirk playing on his lips.

Your breath shook when you imagined Jim entering the Treasure room. He doesn't know the dangers that could be there.

Even B.E.N. doesn't remember.

You jumped in your seat. "I know more about the treasure than you think!" You shouted, your voice echoing in the small cavern-like area. The pirates turned their attention to you.

Silver raised an eyebrow at you. "Is that so?"

"Yes! I know where exactly where Flint placed his treasure. And it's not right behind those trees!"

Silver chuckled, but you saw a different emotion in his eyes. Uncertainty.

"Oh yeah?" he asked, "and how do you know?"

"Because Flint was smart and he wouldn't let just anyone waltz right into his treasure! It could be a trap! Haven't you paid attention to the legends?"

"What if yore the one fooling us?" a feminine looking alien spoke from below. Her short body consisted of one long fleshy bone twisted to form hands. Those were her only limbs.

"Because I know him!" your voice froze in your throat. Was it a good idea to tell them all? They wouldn't even believe you. But maybe if you just twisted the truth.

The pirates began to laugh. Except Silver.

The female pirate cackled. "You knew captain Flint?"

"I.... you glanced at Jim. He was shook his head.

He's right. There's no point in explaining.

"Just think about it!" You shouted over their cackles. "We are already here with almost no trouble on the way--traps I mean. Why would a pirate just allow for their treasure to be found so easily? No traps at all. Unless the entrance to the treasure is booby trapped. What if you had hidden treasure? Would you allow people to just waltz right in and take it?"

The pirates actually began contemplating this. They looked at each other and began murmuring to each other.

Silver was scratching his chin. He eyed you warily. "She's right," he said finally.

Some pirates were still talking amongst each other.

"Alright everybody, shut your gobs!" Silver shouted and waved an arm. He straightened and leered in your direction. "Get her down and untie her. She comes with us."
