Tom was upset because he didn't want to feel the pain females do. He's herd enough alot about it. Feeling it seems worse.

The 3 found a nice place in the woods from what Tom had learned that in Omegaverse theyre good at making camps and whatever or finding and settling in caves like mountain lions or wolfs.

During Toms edgy teen years he stumbled upon omegaverse and memorized the biology and everything about it. (If youd like a Omegaverse biology lessons hit me up duderinos)

They had cut down tall thin trees and had build walls with a small space in between each one. They found more trees and cut them in half and weaved them through. Made a roof and covered it in clay with a door and a chimney. They made beds out of leaves. They were able to make a tent sized place but you can stand up fully. Matt and Tom were gonna share and Edd would have one of his own. Later that night Edd went hunting so the two were alone.

Tom was thinking about his heat and he didn't think he was ready. Like yea him and Matt has had sex before but 1. He's only been sub once every other time he's been dominate. 2. Alphas can be ruthless and careless. He knows Matt CAN be different but you never know.
