Hey everyone.
Thank you all for being so patient with this story, and I am so, so sorry for subjecting you to ... all this *gestures wildly with hands*. Let's just say that my characters and I aren't quite best buddies any more. Not only have they completely changed from how I originally intended them, they are also stubborn in not helping me make decisions about their futures, and are completely refusing to give up the ending them seem to have chosen and go with one that I actually like! So, for the sake of finishing this story, I will continue this story the only way it wants to go, and if I have any spirit left afterwards I will try a rewrite, and hope to god I don't end up hating them again.
So what can you take away from this?
1) I blame my characters for my poor decision and writing skills,
2) New chapters will come ... eventually,
and 3) You and I are not going to like them.
So buckle up me hearties - The ride is gonna be bumpy!
