Scorpius's point of view

Thursday morning came along and, as usual, Scorpius was the first to wake up.

"Albus," he said while poking his sleeping boyfriend. He didn't wake. He tried again. "Albus!" It didn't help either so Scorpius climbed on top of him and leaned over to his ear to whisper. "Watch out. James is coming." Albus opened his eyes halfway.

"He is not," he said wickedly.

"Come on," said Scorpius and gave him a push. "Dad is coming this afternoon. We need to get ready."

"One more minute." Scorpius grabbed a pillow to hit him. "Alright! However it would be a lot easier if you could get off me. You're sitting on my stomach."

Scorpius moved backwards so he was sitting on his legs instead, and held out his hand. Just as Albus grabbed it he pulled him up in a sitting position and kissed him good morning.

"That wasn't very hard was it?" said Scorpius as he got out of bed.

"You're an asshole," Albus muttered.

"Love you too, babe," said Scorpius and blew him a kiss.

They went downstairs to have some breakfast. As they entered the kitchen they found James sitting there all by himself.

"I have succeeded!" said Scorpius full of pride as he pointed at Albus.

"Whohoo!" said James as he clapped his hands. "Guess what time is it then. It's two pm."

"Oh..." said Scorpius.

"No worries. I made some soup if you'd like some," James offered.

"I thought we were having breakfast, not lunch," Albus joked.

"Well. If this is what you call breakfast, then no lunch for you I suppose," said James ironically as he left the kitchen.

"I can't believe it's two pm already," said Scorpius after he took a seat. "That means dad will be here in an hour."

"Don't worry, we'll have time," said Albus as he filled two bowls with soup. When he took a seat he noticed that Scorpius looked a bit down. "You okay?"

"I just can't believe it's been two years already," said Scorpius almost tearing up. "I remember it as if it happened yesterday." Albus tried to comfort him by wrapping his arm around him. "This is  my second visit. Not counting on her birthdays."

"Here. Eat," said Albus and gave him his bowl.

An hour had passed and there were off to the graveyard. Usually they would apparate but this time they decided to take the muggle underground since it was more relaxing. Neither one of them said a word during the ride.

As they reached the graveyard, Scorpius felt tense like he usually did every visit. Albus held his hand in comfort so he could relax, as they headed to his mother's grave.

"This is it," said Scorpius and felt his voice cracking. Albus attended the funeral, but had never seen the result on the grave.

Scorpius went to leave his bouquet of flowers there, and both Albus and his dad hugged him afterwards. He fought not to cry since he didn't want to cry infront of them. I'm going to make you proud, mum, he thought.
