Scorpius's point of view

After a quidditch practice, Scorpius got out of the shower and threw himself in bed exhausted. Joseph was preparing for the party and where Albus was he had no idea. But it didn't last long until Albus entered the dorm along with a bag from zonkos.

"Scorpius," he said as he sat down on the edge of the bed. "You were going for the vampire look tonight right?"

"I guess. Why?"

"Because Lily, Bea and I went to zonkos and found loads of Halloween related stuff. Check this out." He picked up a box from his bag and gave it to Scorpius.

"Everlasting blood?"

"Quote everlasting ending quote. It only lasts for six hours. They also had those for twelve hours, but they were a bit too expensive." Scorpius kept reading on the package.

"So it's basically like actually bleeding. Just one drop and it will spread."

"Cool isn't it?" said Albus. Scorpius nodded in agreement.

"So what about you? What shall your costume be?"

"Hmm..." said Albus and thought about it. "Now I know."

He went to his trunk and grabbed his cloak and mumbled a ripping spell.

"Isn't that your uniform?" Scorpius questioned.

"My old one," Albus corrected and held it up to show how small it was. "Found it in my trunk the other day. I guess I forgot to pack it up as I bought my new one."

"What are you making out of it?" Scorpius asked curiously.

"You'll see."

Albus's point of view

Albus went to the party as a failure of dressing up as a dementor, with a hood that almost covered his eyes. Scorpius was wearing a white shirt covered in the everlasting blood that had spread from dripping down his lower lip. The first person they saw was Joseph dressed as... something odd.

"Well look who's here!" he greeted. "So? How about this look?"

His hair looked like he failed to dye it black, he wore a pair of rounded glasses, a fake lightning scar on his forehead, probably painted by himself, and a Gryffindor robe. The inner Albus was shaking his head. He could not take this seriously.

"And you're supposed to be..?"

"Harry Potter of course! The boy who lived, hello? You know what date it is today," he said in excitement.

"Not sure if 'boy' is the right word for him anymore. And you look nothing like my dad by the way."

"You're the one to talk," Joseph pointed out. "Let me see you sucking out someone's soul."

Albus got desperate for a good argument.

"Let me see you talk to snakes," he said. Joseph snorted.

"Come in, guys. Bea has been waiting for you, especially you, Scorpius."

The hall was filled with decorations, and the tables were gone. Instead there was a huge dance floor. Then they spotted the redhead, who was wearing a dolly dress in red and white, and her hair was all curly and tied up in two ponytails. When she turned to face them they saw the dark shading around her eyes. She ran over to them and pulled them into a hug.

"Looking good," she said to Scorpius.

"Thank you," said Scorpius. "And you are?"

"Annabelle. From a horror film," she explained and then turned to Albus. "Dementor?"

"Right you are. I'll suck up the happiness if you get too close," he said and put his arm around Scorpius's waist.

Before she could answer Lily came rushing over to them, dressed as a fairy along with her fairy wings that uncle Ron gave her as a back to school gift last year.

"There you are!" she said. Albus responded by trying to scare her by making a failed dementor sound. "Very funny," she said and ripped off the hood.

"Alright, alright, may I have your attention please?" they heard Joseph calling out loud. Everyone in the hall turned to look at him and the three people beside him which Albus assumed to be Elizabeth, Wendy and Isac. "Alright, Isac will you take over the speech?"

"Sure," said Isac who was dressed as a werwolf. "Well. As we've told some of you. Welcome! We've arranged this party in celebration of, well it's Halloween of course, what did you expect?" Some people began laughing. "But that's not the only reason. We're gathered here tonight to celebrate the boy who lived- No not you, Joe, stop making a fool of yourself." Joseph, or Harry at this point, waved to the audience with pride. "Alright, where were we? Ah. The boy who lived. Today it is forty years since Harry Potter survived the killing curse and made Voldemort disappear, and made history. So we're here to celebrate our hero, and we're proud that at least two of his children made it here." He pointed at Albus and Lily which made Lily blush.

After the speech, where zero shits were given by Albus, he went to look for Scorpius, who disappeared during the speech. Then he saw him in a corner. He was talking to Bianca. Must've been something private since they were standing in a corner. He had a bad feeling about this.
