Chapter 66
Katniss Pov.
I wake up and walk Prim to school. I don't talk to my mom. She doesn't even get it. She's mad because some old feud between her and Cato's parents. They've obviously moved on because they let me hang out at their hotel over winter break. I don't even want to talk to her. But I'm not going to let her keep me from hanging out with him. I get to school and he hugs me right away.
"Cato, my mom grounded me." I tell him.
"What? Why?" he asks sadly for me.
"Because I'm dating you, she didn't get along with your parents so she takes it out on you." I explain.
"You're mom is-"
I cut him off, "A witch?"
"Yup." we laugh. "If you think about it, it's romantically tragic."
"Like Romeo and Juliet?" I ask and he agrees. "Don't worry, I'm already grounded. If I sneak out she'll just ground me longer. I can just keep repeating it."
He nods and I go to my classes. Everyone is nice to me except Peeta. At lunch I sit with Cato. Thresh comes over since him and Glimmer got along well. Then everyone starts sitting with me, except Peeta. Who is now sitting with Fox. And I feel bad, for him, but I don't anymore. He kissed her.
