Chapter 73
Finnick Pov.
"Again?" I ask.
"Yes again." Peeta tells me on the phone.
"Well if it doesn't work this time, stop!" I tell him.
"You know that probably won't happen."
"Yes I know."
"Want to go to the beach with Johanna, Gale, Katniss, Thresh, Annie, and me?" he asks.
"Of course, I don't trust three other guys around Annie." I joke.
He laughs, "See you there."
I get my surfboard and throw it in my car. I drive and park at the beach next to Annie.
"Want to surf again?" I ask her.
"Yup." she smiles. I grab my board. She struggles to carry hers. I pick it up for her. "Thanks."
"No problem, a pretty girl shouldn't have to carry her own board. She needs to save her energy for the water."
She smiles. "You need energy too."
"I have enough." I tell her.
"You calling me weak?" she asks.
"No..." I say.
"Hand me the boards." I put them in her arms and she carries them just fine.
"Impressive." I tell her.
"I just wanted you to carry them
for me." she tells me.
"You're evil!" we laugh.
We all surf or body board, or just swim. This is why summer is my favorite season.
We all hang out at my house and talk and have fun. I can't believe we are going to be seniors in no time, I don't know where they're all going to go. I know where I'm going though, I'm going where ever Annie goes.
