My Light ~Suho

I was in a dark place. I didn’t know what to do anymore; everything was dark. The colours were dull and grey, the air stung my lungs, and the sun hurt my eyes. My world was dull and boring and didn’t seem to make sense. I couldn’t find my way out. I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel; the tunnel seemed to go on forever and go deeper and deeper into the nothingness of black. I was about to give up, when he came along. Suho; he pulled me out of the mud that was suffocating me, threatening to close up over my head.

He found me, he saved me. His love was my anchor, his strength my rock. He helped me find the colours again; he helped me see the light. He was my light at the end of the tunnel.

He’s in the room next door just now, preparing to go to hospital for my check; I just hope that everything is good and normal.

“________! Come on, what are you doing?”  You put your pen down as he took your chin between his fingers and tilted your head up to look at him. You smiled.

“I’ll be right there.” Suho smiled at you and you couldn’t believe that he was really yours. He bent down and kissed your lips softly, then trailed his hand down onto your abdomen. Resting his forehead against yours, he smiled softly and stroked your swollen belly.

“I love you, _____.” He whispered.

“I love you, too, Suho.”

He’s just left to get the car ready. And I do; I love him and I know he will be a brilliant father. And for the first time in a long time, I can’t wait. I can’t wait for the future.
