Elsa

Elsa tried to hide her giggles.

"Jack, I didn't realise you were the type to break into a school"

"You don't know a lot about me"

I laughed but really, he was wrong.

I knew quite a lot in just one month.

He was funny, he was smart, he was a great athlete.

He loved his sister, liked Harry Potter and had the same taste in icecream as I did.

We both loved the same Marvel heroes...

"Well actually..." I said before I could take back the words: "I know quite a lot about you"

He chuckled.

"Not as much as I'd like you to"

"How much would you like me to know"

"I want to be honest with you. No pretenses. I want you to know the real me"

"What I saw wasn't?"

I felt the disappointment in the pit of my stomach.

He laughed a little.

"No, that's kind of the problem. It was me, as no one else had seen me. I just want to be with you more, so I can keep being myself. I don't feel like I have to be anyone else around you"

"Oh... that would be romantic if we weren't trying to destroy someone's reputation in an empty school corridor we broke into at night time"

"It's actually a bit of a horror story when you put it that way..." he said.

"I'm glad you can make light of this situation"

"It's my job - class clown, right here"

"And here I thought it was star jock/player"

"I think Hans is working on the player part and Eugene is more agile and swift than me in sports"

"Okay, class clown it is"

"I know I pegged myself that but how can you say it so easily"

"Simple, you make me laugh and that's pretty hard. Now if it was Anna... that's a bit different"

He smiled at her. Stop smiling!! Your eyes are sparkling and it's making me go weak at the knees like some lovesick idiot...

He stopped smiling and turned to the wall, this time laughing.

"Pitch sure did a good job on these"

"I know, I can't wait to see Hans' face at the end of it"

"And then what next?"

"The best things always come in threes"

"So one more prank and then the confession"

"Yep!"

"Have you thought of the second one yet?"

"The brilliance is that we're combining the second prank and confession"

"How?"

"I'll tell you later. Let's just get these up"

He put up the little pieces of blue tack, sticking the posters along the entire corridor"

"First thing you see when entering the school" he grinned.

"Perfect"

He walked her home.
