I'm at the beach and it's raining so I might as well update! I'll probaby update tonight too! Love you guys! Read, vote, and comment!

“What happened?” I ask Alex

“I should have stayed with you” she cried

“I tried looking for you!” I say slightly angered but I hold her close to my chest

“Dude, lets leave. She needs to get out of here. Something’s wrong” Austin says and grabs Alex out of my arms

She winces when Austin grabs her arm and rushes out the building. We wait outside for a taxi to come and just standing next to Alex I can smell the alcohol she has consumed through out the night. I can’t even process what has happened tonight. What was she doing? I found her in the back of the bar. A guy was probably trying to come on to her. I bet that was it. Why the fuck wasn’t I with her? I should been there. I was too busy hanging out with Austin that I forgot about her. I pang of guilt shoots through my chest and when I look at Alex she seems dazed. The taxi soon pulls up and Austin goes in and then Alex and then me.

“What happened?” Austin asks

She doesn’t answer.

“Alex, what happened?” Austin asks again but I can tell he is a bit angry

She still doesn’t answer.

“Goddammit! Would you fucking answer?” Austin yells

I see the taxi driver getting nervous but I don’t care. I care about Alex and that’s all. Alex just looks straight ahead and doesn’t bother talking to us. We soon get out of the taxi and I quickly pay the driver and he soon zooms off. Alex looks like she is about to pass out so I pick her up bridal style and we walk into the hotel. I push the elevator button and when the elevator arrives we rush in. The whole ride to the floor is silent. When we get out of the elevator we head to Alex and I’s room and I put the key in. I lightly lay Alex down on the bed but she soon sits up. I look at her intently while Austin is furious. I’m honestly pissed but it’s also my fault. When she first disappeared I didn’t immediately go after her. I waited until later.

“She’s right” Alex mumbles

“Who?” Austin questions

“Mom” she says

“Oh shut the hell up! Mom is such a bitch so don’t say that!” Austin yells

“I am stupid. Just like she says” Alex huffs

“No you aren’t!” I say harshly

“Niall I never told you what she did, correct?” Alex slurs

“Alex, stop” Austin says calmly and sits next to her

“She used to be such a wonderful mother to Austin and I up until I was 11. Austin was 13 at the time. Her drinking got heavier. Apparently she didn’t like dad going on business trips. Whatever. That was just one of her many excuses” Alex says with tears in her eyes

“Stop” Austin warns

“I tried to ask why she was drinking so much but she would just get drunk and tell me to shut up. When she had been drinking so much, I would try to help her and basically take care of her. Austin would help sometimes but most of the time he was away in his bedroom playing video games or God knows what” Alex says and Austin rolls his eyes at the last part that Alex said

“I made a mistake once. I started not doing good in school when I was 12. I just didn’t care. I was tired. Tired of the unspeakable things my mom would say to me. I was 12. Just 12 years old! Soon though I did pick up my grades. I didn’t deserve what she was saying to me. Then on my 13th birthday, when I came home from school she was gone. Everything of hers were gone. No note, nothing. Through out the years I honestly thought she was dead but then when I saw her at the restaurant and I almost passed out. She was right. I am stupid. I am worthless” Alex cries
